I have been going to Face Works to see Katrina and nothing compliments you more than people constantly telling you how great your skin looks. I love the atmosphere! I get 100% attention when I go and feel completely wonderful during my treatments. And the products that I have been using are unlike anything I have ever used. There is a brand called Yonka that will make you a believer. Katrina works around my schedule to accomodate appointment times so seeing her is never any problem. I looove this place and would recommend it to anyone that wants great face!

Face works is a great spot for a quick spa need. I have had several facials, microderm, and peels with Melissa and she is great! She really knows her stuff and her room is spacious and clean. Highly recommend her and her services. As far as massages, I have had 2 different experiences. Katrina is the best! Her room is right near the nail station, but I don’t really notice any excessive noise or voices. Perhaps its because, with Katrina, I am practically in another state of being when she is working on me. She really is awesome. She knows exactly how much pressure and when to move on. I have had a few different massages from her and all have been outstanding. Now, the other experience I had was when I called(day of) and they squeezed me in for a massage from someone other than Katrina. I was less than impressed. Her room needed a scrub. Her technique was adequate for what I needed, but she smelled so much of cigarettes it was a bit overwhelming. Prices are below average and I LOVE the re-booking discount.(ask about this one!) Overall, like any spa or service it really depends on who you see. I recommend Melissa(face) and Katrina(body) without hesitation.

went here on a whim after buying one of their discounted specials the day before. This is a nice touch, they’ll email you open appointments and offer them at a 20% discount. I arrived early, and the waiting area was very nice, open and clean. The massage room was the opposite. There is no locker room, or place to change into a robe and relax. The room I was in was tiny, and only had a stool for me to place my clothes on. There was also a shower in the room that looked like it had not been used in years. Kind of weird. The massage itself was good, but it was hard to fully relax. Midway through, someone was in the room next to me having a conversation. It was like they were right in front of me. The walls were very thin. I will not be rushing back to Face Works.

Face Works is a-okay. Located in a strip mall out Patterson Avenue, Face Works is a nice salon, but it’s small and showing a bit of age. I went most recently for a mani-pedi. One awesome thing about this place: if you get on their email list, you’ll get emails with discounts on specific services and appointment times. When I went, my pedicure took place in a kind of odd location. It was like they didn’t really have a dedicated spot and they set a chair and tub of water up where they had room. That said, my nail tech(I can’t remember her name) was extremely friendly and thorough. I felt like she gave me great service for my money. The receptionist was also very friendly and offered me water, coffee or tea to enjoy during my service. Face Works also offers neat specials throughout the year, like a special mani/pedi with rose petals at Valentine’s Day. It’s a nice day spa, but I just wish the interior were a bit newer. Since it is a day spa, not a nail salon, prices for services like manicures are higher. I’d head back here for more of a deluxe treatment in between cheaper nail salon visits.
