Love. Just love. Aside from the fact that they carry David Yurman(swoon), the staff couldn’t be more knowledgeable and helpful. My fiancé, who isn’t one for shopping to begin with, purchased my engagement ring from Fink’s and had the best experience.(This is on the heels of a not so great experience at a different location.) From the moment he walked in, the person who helped him(who also happened to be named Jamie — fate, right?) really listened to what he wanted and made him feel at ease. He told me that not once did she try to push any rings or styles, and she searched around to other locations in order to find exactly what he wanted. The ring is perfect, btw. He actually got the ring resized before he gave it to me — using a ring I already owned, which unbeknownst to him, I actually wear on my middle finger. So, it was too big and we had to get it resized again. No biggie at all, but since we had already used his freebie resizing, we figured we’d have to pay for it the second time around. Nope. When we took they ring in, the staff was so friendly and accommodating and told us(without us asking) that they would do what they could so that we wouldn’t have to pay for the resizing. Now that’s customer service! Also a bonus? They told me it would take between six and eight weeks to get the ring back, since this particular designer won’t let anyone else resize his pieces. That was super sad news to me, as I didn’t want to go bare finger for a day, much less two months! However, a week later I received a call from Fink’s that the ring was back and ready for pick up. Score! Fink’s at Stony Point will forever have our business, and we plan on purchasing our wedding bands(and probably some DY, too) from Jamie.
