I first contacted Nick through the Unilocal email and he responded within a few hours. We set up an appointment the next day on a Sat which was more convenient for me. He was on time, friendly and very professional. Nick gave me an estimate before he came out and even though the job took longer than expected, he kept to the original amount. We loved Nick and are having him come back again for more work on our house. Don’t hesitate to call him!

I have several properties in the West End of Richmond and in the middle of the winter a tenant called and said they were having problems. Turned out a motor and board needed to be replaced. I called several companies and each said emergency rates would apply and they were crazy high, others said it would take several days. FCE really lived up to their name, First Call.

Nick (the owner of First Call Electric) came out to my home today to install a new and much needed light on my back deck. He was awesome! He was great to communicate with, showed up on time, did a great job for me, and was friendly and professional. I have an older home (built in 1950) and it can be quirky. Installing the light on my back deck ended up being more complex and complicated than it would have normally been due to some strange construction inside my walls but Nick tackled the project like a pro and was determined to make it work so that I could have my light and the new switch where I wanted them. He quite obviously cared a great deal about the quality of his workmanship and he cared about my home which meant a lot to me. He was very fairly priced and was patient when my strange home caused the job to require extra effort. Nick went above and beyond by modifying a part I purchased from Lowes so that it would work for the job and be aesthetically pleasing. I will be using him again in the near future for some other work I need to have done and would highly recommend him to anybody — he really is fantastic. Class A Contractor and Five Star Service… give him a call, you’ll be happy you did!

We found out about Nick (First Call Electric) through an Amazon deal he was running. He was booked up for a few weeks out but offered to come by on a Sunday morning to hang a ceiling fan and fix a broken light switch for us. Super nice guy. He did a great job and even replaced the light switch at no charge even though hanging the fan took the full two hours we had pre-​paid for. I can recommend Nick’s services highly enough. He is ambitious and motivated and even tolerated our four dogs.
