Friendly’s

This is probably the best Friendlys I’ve been to in Richmond… I’m thrilled to see Friendlys down here, since I grew up eating Reeses Pieces sundaes in the NorthEast.
The service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was clean and the food was well-​done. My husband had some buffalo chicken sandwich– he said it was amazing. I ate his fries– they were good.
But it’s really the sundaes that make Friendly’s special. And this is why they only get 4 stars from me.
Their sundaes are getting smaller. I ordered a 3 scoop sundae recently, and I swear it was like a miniature sundae. It was so small that last night when I went in I ordered the 5 scoop… and even that wasn’t THAT big. I mean, it didn’t even reach the top of the glass it was in! I’d say it was 5 mini scoops. The toppings were relatively generous though… but yeah, if you are used to getting 3 scoops and having trouble finishing, you might consider bumping up to 5– Friendlys is cutting back ;)
