The food was. So. So Good. I ordered the chips and dip first. They were kettle chips and they gave us a huge bowl of them. The dip was INCREDIBLE. Made with I believe bleu cheese, bacon and shallot. Unfortunately there wasn’t much of it but for the price I will definitely order it again. Along with that we ordered the Mac and cheese and the French dip sandwich. Both were delicious. The drinks were great, their take on a Moscow mule was different and although I wasn’t a big fan of the spicy ginger beer, my buddy ordered 3 of them back to back. With a mix of the classic Richmond atmosphere, lots of different kinds of people and big windows surrounding the bar it makes for perfect people watching! I wish I remembered our waitresses name also because she was a delight. We showed up around 9 and there weren’t many people but after the hour all of the tables were full so I would say to get there early to guarantee a spot on a table. Just found our new favorite hangout spot!

This place would be a pretty chill spot but the manager here(the one with the crazy beard) is such an asshole! An entire wedding party came in to hang out and he would not even change the sign to say«Congrats». Walk a few Blocks more for a better bar/club

Terrible service and insanely condescending management. The opposite of an enjoyable time. Also the art on their walls looks like a 4th grader with down syndrome painted it. Id rather play pool in hell. Suck it.

Best pool bar I’ve ever been to! This place is awesome. Fifteen dollars an hour for 2 – 4 people, and $ 24 for all day play before six. They’ve got about 13 tables and it gets pretty busy on the weekends, but I’ve never had to wait to play. Drinks and food here are amazing and the employees are all really nice and friendly. They offer a late night menu after 11 that has grilled cheese with tomato soup dip… yes please! Hoping to come back for one of their bourbon tastings and ice cream sandwiches(not at the same time) soon!

This place is an awesome edition to the ever growing Downtown Richmond scene. I wanted to do something with my homies and wasn’t sure what we could do. I forgot I bookmarked this place awhile back and it met all of our criteria, mine at least: fun, chill, and reasonably priced. They have a very small dining area which can probably fit up to about 20 people max. We decided to get some dinner/bite to eat first then play some pool. Most of their foods are finger food and appetizers such as: chips, dips, deviled eggs, sliders, skewers and they have a few sandwich creations. I decided on the grilled cheese with is served with a tomato soup and a side for $ 11. The food actually took a lot longer to come out than expected. My grilled cheese was good, but was on part with any other standard grilled cheese. I actually liked the bread the most as it was perfectly crispy and glazed with some butter. The waitress seemed to be hovering over our table a lot and asked us several times if we needed anything else after we ate our meal. I wasn’t sure if she was trying to close us out because we were taking up a table or if she was just being over polite. For pool, you pay at the front desk and it’s an hourly rate. We had three guys total and for 2 – 4 people, it’s $ 15/hour which is a really good deal. I think they have about 15 pool tables and it’s all spaced out nicely. The pool tables themselves look like they were just assembled a week ago; they were clean and flawless. I was really impressed with the vibe with this place because it was very casual and a great place to just hangout. I think you can also order food/drinks while you’re playing pool as well. I would come back again to play some pool but not for the food. I think there is only street parking available but I was able to find a spot right out front.

This place is so awesome! We came here the Saturday after Christmas and it was full around midnight. The pool hall is spacious with retro theme/décor. The serve drinks and food. It’s a perfect spot for a fun night on the weekend. It’s busy but not annoyingly packed. The snacks there are very good. The shishito peppers were delicious and deviled eggs with honey and a pice of fried chicken are to die for! The old fashion was perfectly made and bourbon on the rocks were also very good. They charge the pool time by the hour based on the size of the group. The service was good and the people that work there are really nice and artsy/hipster. I would definitely come back anytime.

We stopped in before a show at the Carpenter center and had a beer. We enjoyed the environment so much, we came back after the show. The Chef’s whim was fantastic. What a great idea! Let the chef decide what the hot items of the night are. We loved the deviled eggs and the bar bread. The homemade ice cream sandwich was an awesome way to top of the snack. This is definitely on the repeat performance list!

This place is awesome. To play pool you need to pay $ 8 for 1 person and $ 15 for 2 – 4 persons per hour. Their foods are delicious! Don’t forget to try the french dip or grilled cheese sandwich! Comes with one side dish too. Or if you want to try something sweet, take their ice cream sandwich. Recommended!

I fell upon this place to grab a quick bite before a show at the nearby Carpenter Theatre. Wow, what a great surprise. We ordered a few apps which came out super fast and they were all excellent. Great service. Cool vibe. UPDATE: We’ve been here 2 or 3 times since my initial review. Still love it.

This is a great place to unwind. The Mrs and I took on a few games of pool versus a movie. She beat me in every game. The service is great, and there are plenty of tables. We did not eat but had a few drinks and they were good. The games are charged by the hour. $ 8 per person. They do have food specials and I saw lunch box specials for $ 10.

I came here for the RVA Sandwich Week. I tried the French dip for $ 5. It was good, but it could have been more flavorful. The au jus wasn’t as flavorful as I would like it to be. The sweetened iced tea was a bit too sweet for my taste. It took a long time to get a refill. Clean restrooms. Cool venue. Friendly staff.

What a great pool hall. It’s spacious, clean, has great food, has high quality equipment and has incredible service. This is hands down the best pool hall I’ve ever been to. Considering that I just moved from California where every business is trying to one up each other, I’m very impressed with this place.

My new favorite lunch spot! $ 10 for a great sandwich(love the French dip) and an hour of pool. Buy 10, get your 11th free! Nice tables, friendly staff, great service, really fun spot. Bring your friends, great way to spend the lunch hour downtown.

WOW! I was blown away at how delicious the food was for a pool room. I work in F&B and was with professional foodies and we were all pleasantly surprised. The smoked duck and the salmon and the cheddar on the meat and cheese plate were AMAZING! Everything we ordered was a hit. Nothing bad at all! Excellent service and great atmosphere. Great for a corporate event or just friends hanging out!

One of the best pool halls in town. Tables are well maintained and level, the equipment is in great shape, the female employees are gorgeous, the food menu is limited but delicious and the bar is stocked with good choices. If you like to play pool. This is the place.
