Friendly, Knowledgeable, and Passionate about Bicycles. When I have went to other bike stores I got the impression that the people are paid employees, with their somber tone and their buy or don’t buy attitude. At Handlebar Cyclery I get the feeling that every one of these employees enjoy what they do and would probably work for free if they could.
Jay and Richard have went out of their way to help me numerous times. Everytime I leave Handlebar I come away with more knowledge than I went in with. Stephen (the owner) always makes time to shake everyone’s hand when he is there. If you have any problems with your bike or fit, this is the place to take it.

These guys are awesome! Hands down best bike shop customer service I’ve encountered around the Houston area. It’s been about 6 months since I’d been in the shop and they remembered me. I had a great cup of coffee while they re wrapped my handle bars. You definitely don’t get nearly the same level of service at those big bike stores. Do yourself a favor and support local!

Handlebar Cyclery is AWESOME! I ordered my new 2016 Liv Envie from there and Jay, the store manager, made it happened in 4-​day! Their technician fitted my new bike for me even though I was a bit late and they stayed working after store hours. Great shop!
