Do not go here to eat. I went once when we moved out here a couple years ago and food was awful! Had to go back twice since for team events and and figured you can’t screw up nachos I was wrong. Take your kids there to play drink beer and eat at the new pizza place next door. Your stomach and taste buds will thank you.

Horrible food, horrible customer service. Waited so long for my food and it came out so cold and unappealing. Totally a waste of time and money.

Decided to eat here as I was with three kids and an assortment of others. It was fairly empty(two days after Christmas on a Sunday at 1PM) so ordering and sitting was a breeze. I got a cheeseburger with fries. Wasn’t bad, but could have been cooked a little less. My kids had chicken nuggets and a quesadilla, the ate them(so that is good.) Overall it was good, easy, simple food — but nothing to get overjoyed about. Great for the kids and for the reason I went there, so… Four stars for family fun/visit.

After several tries, I feel compelled to warn you from ever coming here to eat!!! This is where you come to have a better than average safe place for kids to play so you can stare down at the plate of dog $*%£ you were forced to order so your kids could play. There truly isn’t a single thing on the menu fit for human consumption!!! I’m sure they make a mint off the stay at home moms looking for a place to hang out with their friends and the kids can play, but if you come here for their food, you’re either dead or dying.

This place is delicious. It is very good and family friendly. My brother loves the playground. He usually gets the chicken Nuggets and he thinks they are delicious. I usually get. The sliders and they Are the and the meat is very jucy. And th are is a free soft serve ice cream machine. You could just walk in and get free ice cream. I just wish that. The swirl gets constipated Sometimes and does not come out. That is the only flaw. And the fact that they have Pepsi instead of coke. So all in all it is the .

Surprised there is only a 3 star overall rating here. I would rank it a 4, so am giving it a 5 to rank it to what it should be. We have four kids and come here every two months or so, and have since it was opened. The food for us has always been good/average to excellent. When you come to All Stars, you know you’re paying for a 100% kid-friendly experience and decent food. If you want great food, go to any other of the places around, but have fun corralling your brood if you’d like hang out after you’re done eating. Here there’s something for the little guys on up to the tweens — and plenty of TV tuned to cartoons and sports. All places have hit/miss items, and here our old faithfuls have been the chicken salad, chicken tenders, and the burgers. And, the queso and chips. In short, we’re glad for a place like this when we don’t feel like cooking and the kids have too much energy. And, the booths are big enough for families of six. My advice, find what you like on the menu and keep getting that. If it’s not up to par, let them know and give them a chance to rectify it. And for the people giving low stars because the ice cream machine, things break. It has NEVER been broken the 20+ times we’ve been there. We consider All Stars a gem for us and our family.

The soup was fantastic! Santa Fe Chicken Enchilada is just tops! Tracy had chicken tenders and said they are very good too.

When you want to get«Greasy Food» this is the place!!! Unfortunately the fries and the chicken tenders were clogged with saturated fat. Went there for a kids team celebration and it was tough on their stomach!!!

This place opened up and the food was strong, but it’s not fresh and home made like it COULD be. I don’t think I’ll ever get over the CANNED corn on top of my grilled chicken platter. {ick} Nevertheless it’s a great place to take the kids and grab some fast food. The only thing I like there that has remained consistent is the All Star grilled chicken burger on sourdough. If you get that with the sweet potato fries you won’t be disappointed. (Now you might have to swat a few flies) but… hey– the kids are having a great time.

Imagine you’ve stayed at a Staybridge Suites or a Hampton Inn and you try the free breakfast they offer the following morning. The low quality sausage and grim cold eggs. That’s basically the food in this place. Just horrendous.

I’ve been here a few times with my daughter and each time we go it gets progressively worse. Last night, when we visited, my SIL got the chips and queso. The chips were stale and every now and then she’d eat a chip that was very sweet. Both drink machines were out of lemonade, which was rectified once we alerted the counter, but the playground was the worse. Our kids are too old to play in the younger playground, but just old enough to play in the big playground. Unfortunately there were several sports parties being held there which means the playground was filled with 10 – 12 year-old boys running around and playing very roughly. Two of our kids came back crying because they were hurt by a boy. The age frame for the playground is 5 – 12 years old. How is a five-year-old supposed to play on a playground with a group of 12 year-olds rough housing? A 12 year-old doesn’t need a playground. He’s one year away from being a teenager for crying out loud! On to a few more disappointments. The ice cream machine was broken last night. If you’ve ever been to All-Stars with kids, you know the importance of the ice cream machine. Lastly, the first table we sat at outside had a pile of granules underneath it. Being a mom and teacher, I know what granules are used to clean up and it’s definitely not something you want to eat around. They must have been sprinkled on whatever bodily function needed to be cleaned up, then forgotten about. As my sister-in-law and I were sitting at our table last night, we used the time to brainstorm all the new places we can take our kids to when we get together, because we will not be visiting All-Stars again.

We didn’t feel like going out to dinner so we ordered takeout from this place. Ordered it right through Unilocal.I was pretty impressed. Anyway, the food was pretty good. Ordered a couple of burgers, mac and cheese, tater tots, and cheese. Oh and i cant believe how well their chicken wings turned out. They are the best I’ve had in the area. Without question. Not breaded. Very crispy and meaty. We don’t have children so can’t comment on the other stuff they offer. But we will definitely order from this place again.

You’re not coming here for the food, you’re coming here for the two different sized fenced in play grounds and free soft serve ice cream. unless you’re coming here for the food, and then you should have read the reviews first… Wraps are ok, burgers are cooked too long, best thing on the menu is the chips and queso. And it really is very good chips and queso. Prices are steep– but an hour of my child playing outside while I do nothing but each chips and cheese and sit and watch him? Priceless.

This place is great for families with children because of the playgrounds. However, the food is pretty bad to say the least(and over priced). We typically only go there because it’s easy to meet up with friends/family that also have children.

Since this place is deep in the heart of suburbia, we were joking that it seems the secret to having a successful business in Katy(this is considered Richmond by the post office) is to have the word«Family» in the name and people will come in droves. If you take the playgrounds away and add a couple of pool tables, this could easily be turned into a biker bar, but as mentioned, the whole family thing gets the people in and it seems their party rooms are booked solid on weekends whether it’s birthday parties or little league teams meeting there. The food is ok, but it really is generic bar food that is full of saturated fat and sodium though I was impressed by the quality of their wings. I’m also impressed by their assortment of REAL iced tea. They had regular, sweetned, peach, rasberry, etc. and it was actual tea… not from the fountain. Kids will like the place since it’s more grownup than Chuck E Hell, but the adults will be bored out of their minds there. There is virtually nothing for them other than watching their kid on the sun baked playground equipment. Their arcade is also pretty old and most things were out of order. One machine had crashed the the bios chip was from the early 2000’s. Come on now, even an entry level smart phone has more power than that. So kids, if they have friends there will like it, but grownups — not so much.

To summarize All Stars: salty, greasy spoon with cheap sides. We first ordered the fried pickles as an appetizers. The pickles were very salty, but I prefer them with more of a vinegar taste. The side salads were good. We had the caesar and house. I also noticed that salads are only a $ 1.50 add-on. The sweet potato fries were also tasty. My wife had a chicken wrap… she said it was ok, but nothing special. My daughter had the chicken fried steak. More salt. Good, but too much salt. I had the asian shrimp tacos. AS used tiny salad shrimp and WAY too much sauce. The tacos did taste good, but were just too messy. Less oil and bigger shrimp would help. AS does offer an ice cream machine, but the ice milk was slightly runny. We might have had it before the ice cream was completely ready. On the good side, I noticed that most sides are 50 cents, including a cup of soup. There are also two gym sets for small kids to climb around. Quite a few TVs were there so I could watch the Texans lose their latest game. The chicken fried steak and asian tacos cost more than $ 10 each, but the portion sizes were large. We came to AS on a Groupon, and am not sure we will go back anytime soon. IMHO, Dekker’s Grill is less than 5 miles away in Fulshear and has better food… or, just go to nearby Swampy’s. It does appear that AS may be a good happy hour establishment, however.
