Best cookie place on campus! I would recommend the M&M! Of course fresh warm cookies are always best but you can microwave them for 3 second if they get cold.

Amazing customer service and delicious cookies.
Ordered some late night cookies and milk and they called back to let me know they were out of milk but offered to drop the milk and give me extra cookies or get some from a Walmart on the way and I pay the delivery person for the milk. Sure enough the delivery person had a nice cold pint of milk with them and I overpaid just as a thank you.
Open up the box and the cookies are still warm and gooey and delicious and there is AN EXTRA COOKIE. Just amazing and now they have a customer for life.

Quite possibly my favorite cookies.ever. I’m surprised to see such a mediocre overall rating because I’m about to rant and give this place a dazzling review.
Insomnia cookies have been so good to me. warm or cold. Favorite is the white chocolate macadamian nut… the white chocolate literally melts in your mouth. Also seems like the kind they use isn’t solid at room temperature cuz the pieces were still ooey gooey half-​melted (this is a good thing) the last time I had it after it had been sitting out.
Everything else is just plain good! Good texture, soft… I think I’ve had nearly all the flavors. If I have only one cheat day this is what I would get. Go try them now!

My first time eating Insomnia Cookies was in Miami. I instantly became a fan of their cookies. I was excited to see Insomnia Cookies here in Richmond. My sister & I went to Insomnia Cookies for a quick dessert. Insomnia Cookies shop is small and very easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. The smell of fresh baked cookies hit your nose shortly after entering. We had chocolate chip & peanut butter cookies. The cookies were soft and tasty. I could have eaten a dozen! Insomnia Cookies deliver within a certain radius. Parking can be a hassle, depending on day & time (located directly on VCU campus). Insomnia Cookies is a good choice for fresh baked cookies in RVA.

The employees were so engrossed in their own conversation about being disgruntled workers my friend and I stood at the counter for maybe a minute before we were attended to. We had to raise our voices to order because the other workers were still carrying on their conversation about scheduling issues. Not something customers should have to hear.
Another thing that would have been nice to know, or atleast written down somewhere was that certain cookies were not included in the box deals.
I’ll give them 2 stars only for the cookies. Because they really were warm and delicious and that’s what I went there for. In the future I’ll be going back down the block to Red Eye, unless the professionalism at Insomnia Cookies get a major boost.

Pretty stoked to have another option for cookie delivery in RVA… Even though they are a franchise/​chain.
Not having my hands tied with a pretty high dollar min. purchase like the other cookie guys means this may become another terrible habit!

Hooray! I found the Insomnia Cookies in Richomd! This was my absolute kryptonite in Philly, so when I heard there was one here, I was excited. The cookies are just as good. You really can’t go wrong with the standard chocolate chunk. I can’t wait to go back and get the Cookiewich or a deluxe cookie a la mode. Thank goodness it’s not close to my house, or I would definitely have to kick up my gym time several notches.

First time ordering from Insomnia — the cookies were delicious! We got the chocolate chunk a la mode, M&M, and s’mores cookies. We tried Red Eye multiple times in the past and also bought some at their food trucks; their cookies were just not that great. Insomnia is 100% better and it only took them 30 mins to get to my house in Malvern area.

Stopped by near closing time, so they had ran out of a lot of cookies by then. We ended up getting an ice cream sandwich with a snickerdoodle and chocolate chip and it definitely satisfied our late night sweet tooth! Cookies were soft, seemed fresh and held well with the ice cream.

I’ve tasted a variety of their cookies but really the peanut butter cookies are the only ones I’m going back for. The snickerdoodle had a weird aftertaste and the chocolate mint was awful. The other flavors I tried (white chocolate macadamia, sugar, double chocolate) were forgettable. But the peanut butter cookies are definitely worth checking out.
Also it has all the nice things a cookie place should offer: warm cookies, milk, delivery until 3am yada yada.

Cookies were okay. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and and some type of Reese’s cup cookie. They were dry and tasted like they had been sitting for a while. I usually order from redeye, but wanted to give this a shot since it was the new cookie spot on the block. Overall, I’m not impressed and recommend exploring other options.
