I have ordered more than once from this establishment and have been disappointed everytime. They must hold their food under hot lights until they get enough orders to deliver because all my subs have been soggy with warm, wilted lettuce. The pizza is average at best.

I like this place! I’ve never eaten in, but it’s perfect for take out, which we do at work on a pretty regular basis. The tremendous variety makes it really easy to find something for everyone. Personally, I’m a big fan of the spinach roll. It’s so flaky and cheesy and when dipped in the giant side of sauce that comes with it, hits the spot when you want something filling. The portions are quite generous– a medium will feed two people, easily. The salads are large and fresh. The sandwiches are hot and loaded with toppings. Mozzarella sticks, oh, yes please!

Haven’t tried too many of the meals but the pizzas and meatball subs are excellent and the staff is friendly.

Pizza was average and not worth the price for the price of two slices I could have got and med somewhere else

I was looking for an Italian place a little closer to home, and after reading the good albeit few reviews on Unilocal… I decided to give this place a shot. The restaurant is located in a fairly sketchy shopping center. Not exactly the place I would look for a good Italian place. Don’t let the area deter you though. As for the inside, the decorum is pretty standard for a casual pizza place. So far I’ve been impressed with everything I’ve ordered. The baked Tortellini was really good. And the portion and flavor of the Friday Special/Baked Spaghetti was very generous. The bread that comes with most meals is simple but tasty. It’s really good when you dip it in your sauce. My friend accompanied me on both my visits. Each time she chose one of their sandwich/sub options. Both of which were rather tasty. All the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. The prices are also very affordable. Noticeably lower than your average Italian place. So in conclusion, this is now my go-to Italian place when I’m craving pasta and have no desire to get dressed up and drive across town to gorge myself at Maggiano’s.

I will be the second to give it 5 stars. The location can’t really be helped but since the pizza I ordered was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. My girlfriend also praised how much she loved the pizza. Also the prices are very reasonable which sealed the deal for star number 5.

Awesome food. Awesome service. Delicious pizza, the crust was nice and thick and the homemade sauce was exceptional. Only reason not voting 5 is the surroundings and the exterior.

I concur with my fellow reviewers as to this Italian restaurant– while it looks a little dicey from outside, and the neighborhood is a little edgy– it is a real find and we had a wonderful time here. Our orders included a broad selection, including pasta and veal dishes. Each was perfect in every respect. Even the bread, plain and unadorned, was top-drawer, and the garlic bread was magnificent– perfectly infused with garlic and just warmed– not heavily toasted as some places do. We were informed the bread comes from Norfolk, and it compared favorable yo the genuine Italian bread we were used to in California from the Italian bakers in San Pedro.
The tiramisu was homemade, not that pre-fab stuff you so often get. We noted that there was only one other party in the place at 8:30, so maybe the«crowd» comes early. It was a Thursday. One issue that made us decide not to give the place five stars was the quality of service– While it was fast — it was not accurate. The server seemed to speak little English and brought linguine with red clam sauce instead of white– While this is minor point, it made the difference between what I wanted and what I got. I ate it anyhow as the rest of the party had been served and i didn’t want to sit there tile the entrée was changed. The salads were excellent and the dressings were also perfect. I had some excellent house Chianti, as well. Again, the server had no clue about the wine selections. Ii wish that perky and helpful server described by another reviewer had been there, as it would have made the overall experience one that warranted five stars. Prices are reasonable, certainly so in view of the quality. The ambiance leaves a bit to be desired, as they seemed to decorate the place mainly with large beer posters better suited to a sports bar. Gave the otherwise well-appointed place a bit of a sleazy air. Next door was an African-Caribbean restaurant and a Chinese place as a few doors down, giving the parking lot quite a unique aroma, dominated by a fishy scent from the Caribbean place.

This Italian joint will not disappoint. From the outside, it looks kinda sketch since it isn’t in the nicest shopping center, but the inside is casual and relaxing. They offer several homemade pastas and sauces, and their homemade Tortellini with Spinach in Alfredo sauce is the best I have ever had by a long shot. My boyfriend loves their homemade Lasagna, and he is a picky Lasagna eater. They have fair food and drink prices and we also love their pizza for takeout. The staff is super nice, and even though sometimes they only have one server on the floor we have not had bad service there. Dining at Italian Delight 2 is a must if you live south of the river or don’t mind crossing the river for some awesome pasta.

What can I say about a pizza joint. This is a good place just located in a undesirable location, but don’t let the location fool you. the pizza is exceptional. The pizza itself have more flavors than just the toppings you get. I got the standard Hawaiian pizza with red sauce. this is hands down one of the best in Richmond. It’s almost like I’m in NYC again. my curiosity will get me to try the white sauce next time.

Don’t be fooled by the vintage appearance, this place has the BEST pizza in Richmond! Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and she recommended her favorite pizza(mozzarella, cheddar, hamburger, bell peppers, onions) and it was a DELIGHT! They have a full menu, so I will be back!
