Jersey Mike’s Subs

Great service, in a mostly convenient area…
My basic 13 inch sub cost me $ 12.00, it was a basic turkey and provolone.
Too steep for a basic sub, my bread was crumbly and dry, and the overall flavor of the sub was boring.
Why four stars? It wasn’t a bad experience or a great experience but it was there and the service was fast when I needed it.

Good subs. The 15 year olds working there are super miserable about their jobs and possibly even their lives. So if you’re also looking to hang with apathetic teens — this is your place!

Quality is inconsistent, and the staff is like a PSA on why not to do drugs. My sub was good, but having to wait 15 minutes for something I called ahead and ordered sucks. Especially because it was ALREADY SITTING ON THE COUNTER, AND LITERALLY JUST HAD TO BE WRAPPED UP. THIS TOOK 15 MINUTES OF MY LIFE I WILL NEVER GET BACK. Also, (unrelated) their parking lot sucks.

The subs and wraps are terrific. My husband usually gets the club and I usually get the Buffalo chicken wrap, but all the meals we’ve had he have been consistently good. We always pick up the sandwiches to go, though, as the interior is tiny and run down.

Well, and the subs are OK! It’s the intangibles that make this 2 stars. Service,…OK. Attitude… meh! But the subs are OK, too! I prefer the Italian sub over the others. The lack of ease parking can occasionally be an issue… decent burgers. It beat a number of sub shops.

Buford Rd location: Food great and I’ve always loved their subs… BUT, the kids that work here leave something to be desired. Slow, attitude, and lacking sufficient knowledge of the English language and listening skills. More often than not they are interested in chatting amongst themselves instead of paying attention to the customer. I still get subs every now and then, but I don’t make the special trip like I used to. Come on JM’s, get your staff together! Maybe my expectations are a tad too high… maybe not.

Consistently good subs and friendly service. Gets packed at lunch.

I have lived in the Bön Air area for 4 years and my Realtor brought me here while looking at houses. The food is great. Can I deal with the service? No. I have been here a couple times since moving here and its been a negative experience every time. Either the line moves like a turtle on Quaaludes, an order is made wrong, or I am incorrectly charged. Sometimes you will get the bonus plan and get all three. Also don’t bring your small kids. The place is incredibly small and lacking seating. Parking is a PITA. They have not once had kids straws in the 4 years I have been there. Oddly, almost every time the soda machine has been lacking syrup or CO2. My last visit the individual did not the know difference between deli mustard and honey mustard. After waiting 10 minutes in line and having my 3 yr old with me, I was not in the mood to have it remade. To top it off, this person could not charge me correctly and charged me with two children’s meals but receiving only one. After several days the refund still has not been processed.
Overall, I have never seen a more poorly managed business. I am surprised they’ve been in business this long. If the quality of the food goes, it most certainly will. I might go to another Jersey Mike’s, but definitely not this one.

So after my last honest review some mental giant named jordan d who probably gets paid 7 an hour working for jersey mikes sent me a very colorful display of his limited vocabulary and mental prowess describing things I should go do to myself and questioning my sexuality… Big man… I hope hes there today when I stop by

This would be 5 stars if it was bigger. Needs better seating, parking etc. Cramped in a small run down sort strip almost mall. Food is great, so is the service. But the place is so packed and there is no where to sit.

One of the best sub shops in Richmond. Although it is a chain, they consistently produce excellent sandwiches on fresh baked bread, hand-​carved deli meats that they freshly carve right in front in you, and you have to go with Mike’s Juice. The «juice» consists of red wine vinegar, olive oil, spices, and salt. This is one delicious sandwich and I keep coming back for lunch again and again.
