I’ve been a patient of Dr Droter for 8 – 10 years now and think he is great. He always been awesome and his staff pretty good. My last visit wasn’t as good. Dr Droter was great as usual but I feel like the optometrist took shortcuts and I’m the one who is dealing with it. I’ve been wearing glasses with transition lenses the last 3 – 4 years. When I got my first pair, the optometrist(not the same one from my last visit) measured my eyes, place the frames on my face and placed the dot on the lenses so he could perfectly measure where to put the ‘zones’ on my lenses. This time the different guy did none of that. In addition to my wear-all-the-time glasses, I ordered readers thinking I would get a higher quality pair of glasses than what I could buy through Amazon, Target, etc. Nope. I couldn’t see a thing through them and Took them back to replace them once and they still never worked for me, Back to my transition lens glasses, I can only wear them for close up and mid distances sometimes. I can’t wear them to drive… I see better without them. I’m not sure what the root cause is and may never know. I like Dr Droter but made an appointment with another practice in the area and am hoping to get glasses that work for all uses.
