My wife and I visited the Short Pump location todaye for her first pair of progressive lenses the staff were top shelf courteous and very knowledgeable alyssa was our sales person very knowledgeable very personable we spent $ 600 on glasses and came away with a smile on our face looking forward to getting them next week we had just left eyemart a half block away feeling disgusted and wondering how that place stayed in business it was refreshing to witness a first rate operation in action I highly recommend for eyes Henrico County Virginia.
Also there was more than adequate staff to help all the customers that came in we were offered discount coupons and asked first thing about what insurance policies we had very grateful

I’ve been going to For Eyes for years to get glasses and have always been extremely satisfied. I recently went to the eye doctor next door, Dr. Woods of Woods Family Eyecare, and it has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with an eye doctor, or any doctor for that matter. I genuinely believe she doesn’t know what she’s doing. She had be try 4 or 5 different pair of contact lenses and couldn’t get any of them right — I was never able to see clearly out of any of them. She over explained why the lenses weren’t working and why she chose one type over the other, which frankly I couldn’t have cared less about — I trusted her to know what she was doing since she’s the professional. I think all that over explaining was to make it seem like she knew what she doing when in fact she was guessing. When I told her my vision was still blurry with the contact lenses, her answer was to blink a lot, use eye drops, and get used to them. How do you get used to not being able to see clearly? She’s extremely condescending and arrogant, and I regret spending any money in her practice. Do not go there.

I’m 32 years old and getting my first pair of glasses (getting old is terrible!). That being said, I was blown away at the selection of frames For Eyes has available. Also, Angela Wells, who normally works at the other Broad Street location, did a remarkable job helping me find a pair of glasses that were comfortable and matches my personal style. Thanks, Angela and For Eyes! Great experience from top to bottom!
