Get the Popcorn Nuggets $ 5 Fill Ups — large popcorn nuggets, 1 side [potato wedges!], drink [pepsi, no ice] and a cookie! Great deal and taste. The commercial for the popcorn nuggets really worked, because the day after seeing the commercial, I was craving exactly that. The drive thru line was quick and the order was accurate. That’s all I really ask for from a fast food place.

I used to order hot wings from another location in the east end on a regular basis, but gave up fried food years ago and I had a taste for it so I bought a 5 piece in the west end. It just wasn’t the same. They tasted like the grease they were made in. I was so disappointed. I normally love them. The wedges were perfect though, so it wasn’t a total bust.
I’m not sure if the issue was the time of day, or location or what. But I won’t be looking for those wings for a while after that let down.

I recently moved to Gaskin near Patterson Ave. The ONLY fast food restaurant in that area is KFC or go a little further to Burger King on Parham road. My 6 year old son always screaming hunger whenever I pick him up from school so I would stop by the KFC on Patterson to get him so snack and some times a bucket as our family dinner. The food was fine, but boy, they are so dis-​organized and slow… who would have thought that going to the drive thru will take 30 minutes! and two out of three times they messed up my order that I had to go back and get the items that I paid for and they missed. And when I go back for the missing items, it took me another 15 minutes to finished the service… I tried to compliant to the manager, but the manager was too busy to talk to me. I was mad, but nothing I can do except accept the fact that you can’t expect ‘service’ in fast food restaurant.

KFC is consistent in what they put out for Fast Food. You really do get a good hot meal for a low price, and the only thing which I did not like at KFC is the NEW Doubledelicious Sandwich they have added to the menu. They really need to work on this. However, their service and people who work there are extremely friendly and nice to you… A great place to take kids for a good value meal… I find myself going at least twice a month now… Both here and the one on W. Broad St. are my two favorite places for KFC.
