We have been here since 7:30, seated at 8:15 and have had an awful experience! Not only were the orders wrong but the kitchen manager blamed it on the waitress. Sure she was new but still inexcusably negligent. When we finally received our bill, THAT was also wrong!!! Thankfully the general manager had the decency to properly apologize and remove the order that was wrong… but why are we still here waiting on the waitress to come get this check!!! 10:15…FREEATLAST, goodbye Kickback Jack.

Heard great things about this place. Unfortunately they were all WRONG. Once we were seated we ordered water to start and our alcoholic drinks.(we were a table of four) After 30 mins we only got our alcoholic beverages. We ordered our meals and they came out 20 – 30 minutes later but still no water. One of my guests ordered a lemon drop and an amaretto sour which took more than 35 mins to arrive. 15 minutes into that wait we asked our waitress about the drink and she informed us that it had been spilled and was being remade. Only the shot arrived! We asked our waitress to speak to a manager so that he/she could be informed of what was happening in the establishment. He took 30 plus minutes just to come to the table!!! Once, he arrived his attitude was nothing close to empathetic to our poor service and less than quality experience as first time patrons at kick back jacks. Worst managerial encounter I’ve ever had! Fortunately when we were leaving we informed the operating manager of our service and he apologized and told us to only ask for him if we were to return. Unfortunately I don’t see us returning to this establishment to take him up on that offer.

Last night I went to KBJ for dinner. My experience was even worse than the last time. We had a larger party of 10 people. Only 1 waitress was assigned to the table. All the orders were placed at the same time but they all came out at different times. I ordered a drink which i never recieved. My parents wings were prepared incorrectly. I asked for bbq sauce three times which I finally received. We were there for over an hour and half and the waitress NEVER refilled any of the drinks. My brother in law actually got up and refilled his own drink. Also, all of our checks were wrong and I had to remind her that the kids’ meals were on sale on Mondays. When she finally got our checks corrected, she takes the checks and our credit cards with her while she goes and chats with a coworker. Later she returns to the table without a pen to sign the check. I spoke to the manager before we left and his excuse for our bad experience was that the waitress was off her game today. Really?!? Not worth the drive for awful, over salted food.

So sad, I had I hopes. My first meal was great several months ago, now on my fourth visit, I tire of orders messed up, kitchen sloppiness, and what could be a good meal turned bad. Clearly the wait staff is sincere and works hard, and the ingredients seen top notch, but if they’re in a hurry the kitchen fails. For example, a medium-well chopped steak is charred on the outside and raw, not pink, inside. Then they insist that uncooked is the same as pink.

Been here a few times. The best wings around. Still a good drive to get here from chesterfield but well worth the drive.

Love this place! It’s my dad and my new wing spot! The services is way better than hooters and the wings are much better too! We go at least once a week and the service is always quick and consistent

Every time I come here, I get let down. I don’t even know WHY I bother! Whenever I sit at the bar, the bartender takes at least 10−15minutes to acknowledge my presence. When I order my food(9⁄10 I order the dry rub wings well done/crispy) they come out with flabby skin. Today was no exception! Smh I really think the kitchen staff is either too illiterate to read the request or they just don’t give a shit. Kudos to the young lady at the to go counter who took my order today & told them I was not going to be satisfied, if only she would make my food instead of the jackasses in the kitchen

I’ve been a HUGEKBJ wing fan, specifically the Dr y Rub wings. I’ll pass 10 wing joints to eat theirs. I went there yesterday and the wings were small and anemic. Not sure if I got a bad batch or they are now cutting corners on their wings. They used to be plump and juicy. I’ll give them one more chance. If wings are not improved, I’ll head back to Legend for wings. Sorry KBJ’s, you let me down on the wings yesterday. Hope things improve

I had given a previous review of this restaurant two stars, because of the noise in the building. I’m raising it to 4 stars because friends have asked me to meet there to watch games. The pizzas are excellent. The wings as well. They make a good salad and the burgers are very good. I still can’t hear what you’re saying…

Im sad to have to give a bad review of KBJ but this visit was horrible. It started off wrong from the door. We waited about 20 minutes with a remote thing, it flashed, I handed it the hostess, another girl grabs menus, doesnt say follow me or anything. just turns and walks away but expected us to follow. We follow, enter dining area, she sees our table hasnt been cleaned off, she stops in her tracks, turns around and walks away. not one word to us like«im sorry your tables not ready… «nothing. nada. crickets. she left us standing in the middle of the floor. I see her clearing the table. she finished and instead of coming to get us, she goes to a 2nd table and starts to clean it. Totally forgot about us I guess. By this time Id already been to the front desk to ask for help. other hostess was no help, said«oh shes cleaning the table-no Im sorry.». so I stopped someone else to get me a manager. He seated us immediatly after I explained. Thank god someone cared about us. Next. the food. our new server Kate was great. I shared our beginning, she assured me she would take good care of us. We ordered the happy hour cruzon bucket for $ 6. it was just ok. there was another one with mango something, I wish that Id ordered that instead. The entrees were not that great either… unfortunatly. ugh. I hate, hate, .hate having to send stuff back because you never know whats going to happen to it. but my fries looked like the bottom of the basket, overcooked and tiny crumbs etc. so I asked for better fresher fries. looked like they just threw some hot ones on top. No bueno. Tasted like grease. Bleh! Onto the normally delicious wings… I ordered grilled. they were super bland. I was so blown because theyre normally so good. My daughter ordered loaded cheese fries and she got the bottom of the basket fries too. she didnt even eat it. And she refused to take it home. Well. the one good thing this visit was our server Kate. Kudos to her for being on point. She did her best with what she had to work with. Im hoping this was just an off night. Needless to say, Im taking a break from them. hopefully next time will be better.

Fast service. Even though they were busy, the food came out super fast. The first five minutes our drinks and appetizer were at the table. Ten minutes later our food was there. Even though I can’t remember her name, our waitress was great. I wasn’t too fond of my Shrimp BLT but I ate it. That was the first thing that I’ve had from here that I didn’t really like. The sauce was good. The bacon lettuce and tomato set it off with the buttery grilled ciabatta. The grilled shrimp were just lacking flavor. Maybe more sauce or just seasoned grilled shrimp would’ve made this sandwich better.

A sports bar with a nice commercial and craft beer selection, good bar food(burgers, wraps, wings, salads), and about 60 large and medium screen TVs. The seating area is large with combo of booths, tables, and high tops. There is also a nice outdoor patio, weather permitting. A great place to watch any televised sporting event and grab a beverage.

Just your average sports bar that concentrates most of their attention to the guys coming in the spend their money. Went in for the Tuesday Hamburger special, only to be told that they were not offering that. When I questioned the server, she went to check and if was verified that the special was valid for today. Had to ask for a straw(picky about drinking from the rim of a glass that I didn’t wash). I was never offered extra napkins and server never checked on drink until I had finished my meal. I was surprised that an in house soft drink is over 24 ounces, yet the take out is only about 16. I was also put out that my server was expecting a $ 3 tip on a $ 7 meal. The hoochie shorts didn’t impress me either. Not sure if I will go back, even though they are just down the street.

I really like this place. Has to be my 10th plus visit. I have had the flounder and shrimp, pizza, most of the wings and burgers. Everything to the side salad is good. Plenty of beer/drink options. Service is just like hooters. If your not comfortable with Hooters attire this is not the place for you. With that, the food is awesome and the service is great.

Kickback Jacks is nothing unusual, just a big sports bar with great food. Multiple TVs play all the crucial games, and two pool tables will keep you occupied while you wait for your food. I’m not a drinker so I can’t really say how the bar is, but they serve Pepsi products so I guess that’s okay. The standout here is their grilled wings. Fat, tender and juicy, you can also get them sauced for that baked in flavor without the grease of a fried wing. It’s usually pretty busy on weekends(Thursday-Sunday) or whenever big games happen, but if you’re willing to wait, I’d say stay. It’s pretty good and reasonably priced. I would definitely come back.

Finally got to try Kickback Jack’s after riding past the location several times on my lunch breaks at work. It is definitely one of the nicest sports bars in Richmond. No shortage of seating or tv’s in these place. The wings were delicious. The Honey Sriracha Sauce was my favorite and the wings were a good size. One order of cheese fries and 30 wings fed three of us. The rum buckets were great, no shortage of alcohol in these babies but mixed with juice to satisfaction. The service was ok. It was really busy and the waitresses sections were spread out so we understood. The parking lot is horrible. The owner needs to figure out more parking options for patrons. Overall good food and drinks. Wish there was one on the Southside. Will return when on this side of town.

Sometimes you just have to realize that restaurants have their own specialties, and you assume a heck of a lot of risk when you order outside of that range. It’s like ordering mac and cheese at an Asian. Now you know good and well you’re just asking for it then. Well, guys, this is the mistake I made at Kickback Jack’s and I suffered the whole next day for it. Ouch. So, a friend invited me here and we just had wings and pints of cider. Both were really delicious! I mean these wings aren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they’re crispy and saucy and pretty darn good. So, when the boyfriend asked if I wanted to go back a couple days later, I said ok! Fair enough. I had just finished working out so I wasn’t going to get the wings this time, I saw salmon on the menu and decided to go with that. There should have been red flags, flashing lights, and bull horns all going off at the same time at this point. I was definitely about to make a horrible decision. But I did it anyway. What I received was so sub par it’s almost embarrassing. I do not claim to be a good cook by any stretch of the imagination, but I actually prefer my own salmon over what Kickback Jack’s gave me. I’ve never had salmon that tasted the way this one did. For one, the color was very artificial looking. It was a super orange-y color that didn’t really look right. Then the texture. It was rubbery. That’s the only way I can explain it. It was not the melt-in-your-mouth goodness that salmon usually is. I requested lemons to squeeze on top and not even that splash of citrus could fix it. There was absolutely no taste to it. Not to mention the other items on the plate, veggies and baked potato, were not good either. My boyfriend said that it tasted microwaved and he hit the nail on the head. Just disappointing being that I was starving and trying to be good. He ended up sharing his wings with me(what a good man!) and that held me over. It’s a shame that I had this experience because the wings are pretty good and I started off liking this place. But consider this a warning: do. not. deviate. from. fried. greasy. saucy. food. on. the. menu.

Man oh man. Their menu isn’t chock full of healthy stuff, but they do have some absolutely foodgasmic dishes. A friend and I were debatig, hard, on where to go for a linner. I mean, we pondered and hemmed and hawed for over 4 hours. We finally«settled» on Kickback Jack’s since it was close, had an outdoor patio, and I had never tried it before. The day was beautiful, and the building looked imposing, but the outdoor patio that led to the inside of the building through wide-flung doors was a beautiful thing to see. We were seated and then greeted by a nice waitress, who quickly asked us for our drink order. I then looked over the menu and ordered the Nachos and a pizza cause, no Nachos were as good as Uptown’s. Boooy, was I wrong. That alter of Nachos was the most beautiful I had seen in a long time. Maybe cause I’ve been eatin healthy, but this dish was phenomenal. Colorful tortilla chips, lightly seasoned with some saltiness, layered with stretchy cheese, juicy meat, jalapeño peppers, lettuce, and sour cream, these nachos were DESTROYED by me and my counterpart. Mostly just me. When the waitress came back with the pizza, I scolded her for not telling me the size of this plate. I didn’t get to try the pizza until later that night, but I could tell it had a good crust on it. They could do with better pizza, but man, their service and their Nachos were on point. The dishes are heavy, so I’ve gotta go back and try one dish at a time, but so far, Kickback Jack’s just got put on my radar. Salud! I’d be happy to «settle» for this place again soon!

Over this past weekend I wanted to try a place on Broad St. that I had never been to before. The first place that popped in my mind was KickBack Jacks. Recently, I had been talking to a number of friends that were raving about this place for its food and reasonable prices, so I thought I would give it a try. How did my experience go? To find out, read below: The Good: Cooking Time– After placing my order, the food came out within 10 minutes. I was impressed with the speed in which it came out. The Bad: Service– Upon sitting down, there was a table that sat down behind my table 5 minutes after but they were tended to first by the server. When the server finally came to my table, my guest and I pretty much knew what we wanted to eat and drink. At the conclusion of our meal, the server disappeared and did not come back to the table for 25 minutes to give the check. Taste– I ordered the Chicken Fingers Platter which came with Fries. The Chicken Fingers were mediocre, the French Fries were overcooked and not seasoned at all. The fries were also lukewarm. I asked for another batch of fresh fries and that batch of fries was half overcooked and had some seasoning on it. Price/Portion Size– I believe that the price of the Chicken Fingers Platter was a little over $ 9. That dish came with four chicken tenders and a handful of fries. In comparison to other restaurants, I could have gotten 4 bigger and tastier chicken tenders from Red Lobster as well as two sides for the same price, or five hand breaded tenders with two sides from O’Charleys for a few dollars extra. Both Red Lobster and O’Charleys serve delicious bread with their meals. Overall– Service was bad, food was somewhat edible and the price does not justify the portion size in my opinion. I don’t see myself coming back here anytime soon but I always encourage everyone visiting a restaurant for the first time to go there with an open mind. ONESTAR.
