Holy Cow! Still the Best fish sandwich ever!
I used to come years ago, but haven’t been for a while — the prices are still the same! How can a double fish sandwich be $ 3.39+tax?!
The Laketrout sandwich is super fresh, made on the premise. It’s light and crispy on fluffy white bread.
Also had the deviled crab fried. I’ll have to go back for some Hush Puppies!
Classic stuff.
The place is a bit worn looking since I was last there, but I guess the neighborhood had changed — are all the yuppies moving in not interested in fish fry?!

Love King’s Fish Market. A great place to go for seafood takeout. I’ve tried their fish, shrimp and fries and love all three. It’s super simple southern fish fry style (fish, fries and white bread) with extra crunch. The best deal is the fish sandwich combo which comes with two pieces of fresh lake trout, french fries, two pieces of white bread and a soda for $ 5.44. Everything comes out of the fryer piping hot. Best of all it’s light, moist and not greasy. Throw on your choice of condiments from the box on the counter and you’re all set.
Beware, this is hole in the wall badly in need of an upgrade and often smells like the fish market that it is, but the food is well worth it! Enjoy!!!

King Fish Market is located near my barber shop. When I have a long wait, I’ll go into Kings for a quick lunch. King Fish Market has some good fried lake trout fish and French fries. King Fish Market sales seafood as well. The market is small. The service is usually fast. The owner is friendly. There’s street parking in front of the market. King Fish Market is a good choice for a fried fish sandwich. King Fish Markets get a 3.5 rating.
