I dig K-Mart. They carry baby clothes you can’t find anywhere else and have nice quality bedding and bath towels. Their accessories are usually above average… and they carry e.l.f cosmetics. They seem to be slower at getting things on clearance than Wal-Mart or Target, but I ain’t mad at you, K-Mart.

Disheveled shouldn’t be a word you use with a store, even a discount store. This Kmart isn’t all that unusual, I suppose, but I’ve seen better stores, such as the one at Tuskawilla and Red Bug Lake Roads in the Winter Springs, FL area. This one, however, looks as though it had a bad morning and got to work late. The shelves often look as though they’re going to fall. The merchandise(or the markers) is often not in the right place. Even some of the markdown markers have the wrong brand name, as Kmart has recently changed their store brand. It’s not unusual to find merchandise boxes on a cart of some sort, waiting to be put on the shelves. Occasionally, you’ll see someone actually working there and they almost always seem dissatisfied. However, the cashiers are quite often friendly and helpful. This Kmart store is on the far side of town, safe from Walmart, with only Dollar General as competition. I still feel sorry for it. While it always seems to have shoppers, it never seems prosperous. Of course, nearly every time I shop there, something goes wrong. e.g., one time my mum wanted to buy a long distance phone card. When the cashier tried to ring it and activate it, it came up with an error. Of course, they’d never seen that particular error. In any case, avoid the regular prices because they’re higher than most other stores, and shop the sales. If you’re looking for beauty, it’s not at Kmart, unless it’s the Health and Beauty department, of course. Update: I tried to buy a few clothes online because a few things they have are well made for the price, and they almost never have what I want in my size. Apparently, their warehouse didn’t have everything either, and they had to have some of the stores send things. What an organized company!
