Lucas and team came to me highly recommended from a friend that used them for her wedding. When I decided to go with the same venue, I was committed to them after seeing photos and hearing the glorious stories of his service. Our first meeting was wonderful. He completely saw my vision and spent a decent amount of time making sure we were on the same page. Upon telling him I was also looking for a «Day Of» wedding coordinator, he said they did that too! I walked out the door with about a $ 6,500 commitment to using his as my florist and my day of coordinator.
We scheduled to meet again in about 3 weeks once I had a chance to review what we talked about.
3 weeks later, my mother and grandmother drove in from Hempstead and I left work an hour early to make the 5:00 appointment in Richmond. When we arrived, he was not there. He was in central Houston for a presentation. He forgot about the appointment altogether. He apologized again and again. I asked him to just call me the next day so we could chat and reschedule. I understand that people make mistakes. So, we got back in the car and now sitting in 5:00 traffic, made the drive all the way back home.
I was upset but figured we would work it out the next day. Lucas never called. I am finally writing this review, b/​c it has been a week and I still have never heard from him. My instinct was to keep him on as both my florist and coordinator. But, clearly my $ 6,500 contract was not important enough for him to call and apologize or attempt to salvage our existing working relationship.
I am a huge supporter of small independent businesses. But, I would never recommend him to anyone. I understand making a mistake and overbooking yourself. But, I do not understand flat out bad manners.
Don’t waste your time.

Lucas and his staff were fantastic. My daughter was comfortable with Lucas from the day they met. His flowers and understanding of what she wanted was amazing. The flowers were on time, correct and beautiful. The wedding was 3 weeks ago and I’m still getting compliments on the flowers. I would definitely use LCFD again. I told Lucas to use me as a reference. If you need to know more, call Lucas and ask for Susan’s number.

The staff is always friendly, they stand by their work, and the price is right!!!
