There’s almost no parking, but it’s not the kind of place that would get really crowded anyway. The parking is kind of behind the fire department when you go in by the gas station. Nothing but trails here. It’s pretty cool to walk around, with lots of fallen trees creating homes for wildlife, and a boardwalk area over what is probably a bog in wetter weather. The trails are easy to walk on, not overgrown or anything. But it is IMPERATIVE that you bring a map and possibly a compass/GPS, because there are no signs in the trails, and the map on a sign at the edge of the park is useless and near-impossible to interpret. I’ll try to upload a good trail map on this page. If you’re prepared, this place is worth it. It’s nice and shady, too. This a City of Richmond park, but it’s super close to the Chesterfield County border.
