Maurice Beane Art & Design

Maurice Beane is both an expert iron worker and antiques dealer. He’s done ironwork around town, the most noticeable piece that comes to mind is the funky gate outside the Visual Arts Center, and also does custom work in people’s homes. He’s also recently designed a high-​end furniture line that’s sold to interior designers across the United States.
Along with iron, Beane is passionate about antiques. His studio is open by appointment only and is full of really cool stuff.
The thing that makes this place the best is Maurice Beane himself. He’s just a really nice guy who’s genuinely passionate about his craft. If you get to know him and are looking for a particular item, he’ll keep his eye out for it when he goes to shows and auctions.
