Atmosphere is awesome… That’s why I came back about 5 times but the people there and the teachers are extremely uninviting. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Was really looking forward to trying this place. A friend invited me to come with her. I unfortunately got stuck in a late meeting and showed up at 6:03 for a 6:00pm class. I waant allowed to attend. Bummer. I like a bit more laid back atmosphere. They weren’t particularly friendly. As a yoga newbie it was an intimidating environment to enter. Wish they would’ve been a bit nicer…

I have been attending this yoga studio for a few years now, and it is my favorite in Richmond! The studio is clean, welcoming, and peaceful. Not to mention the boutique has amazing gifts for yourself and your yogi friends. If you want to find your center before you start work each day, I recommend the 6:30 a.m. or 7 a.m. Sunrise Vinyasa class. Linda and Becky are both great instructors! Make sure you get there a few minutes early to stretch your tired self and get a good seat in the class. It is a great start to the day! They lead you into the class slowly and by the end you feel awake and ready to tackle the day! Parking is very easy for this morning class, as the rest of Richmond is still asleep. I have been to other classes and parking is kind of hairy after work, but there are a few spots for bike parking. I’ve also seen many people walking to class, if you live in the neighborhood you could get a nice double workout! Highly recommended if you are looking for a new pre-work workout routine or want a bendy compliment to your usual coffee ritual.

Very sweet studio! It definitely has a bright and joyous air to it. Some points I like: easy to find and park, a good range of class times, very friendly front of house, class descriptions are accurate, teachers are kind and encouraging. The actual studio is small. They have plenty of cubby space and hooks for your coats and stuff, Props are plentiful(I think I saw bolsters, bricks, straps, mat fragments, and mats) Also, I keep meaning to try and get to class early so I can browse their boutique more!

So, I somehow got convinced to try Yoga out by a friend of mine who pretty much attends a class every day of the week. Because of the incentives they offer to members, she is able to accrue points for attending sessions and ultimately, can redeem those points for discounts off of the store or for the member to bring a guest to any class. Lucky for me, I was that guest! I tried a vinyasa flow class and I really loved it! The studio was relaxing and I felt as if I was in an alternate location because you didn’t get the feeling you were in the same building surrounded by a busy, busy street. I will say, I had absolutely no idea that I would sweat my ass off and therefore, wouldn’t have worn a long sleeve«heat protection» shirt that keeps every little bit of heat inside your shirt and sweat inside too. It was comical but I enjoyed myself nonetheless. I’m not sure if yoga is for me just yet, it’s a commitment and it’s definitely one that I would consider in my not too distant future! ommmmmmmmmmmmm.(hum at the beginning and end of class)

Wonderful studio. Instructors are dedicated and innovative. Space can be tight especially on weekends so you might get to know your neighbor a little better. Favorite class is Yin on Wednesdays with Nitya. I feel more relaxed after this class then even a glass of wine. Pricing is reasonable. Retail provides a wide assortment of gear and other niceties.

Love this place! The studio is peaceful, the teachers are great. There are a good variety of classes and the pricing is reasonable. There is also a retail space with a little bit of everything. A great studio if you’re an expert or looking to get started… I highly recommend it!
