Bought a new boat from them a few years ago. Was a headache thru the entire buying process, the loan broker said to stay away from them and I should have listened. They have at least one honest salesman and used to have a great service manager. They demand money up front for work and that is usually a bad sign, they charged me $ 1000 for some varnish work and only lightly sanded the wood without applying any varnish. They refused to complete the work or refund my $. The owner blamed it on the service manager who had quit. Eventually sold my boat thru them and the listing agent was horrible, promised professional pics and video but only took a few cell phone pics. He promised weekly meetings with other brokers at Passage to get a feel for what customers thought about the boat and the listed price. I NEVER got any feedback from him regarding the listed price until I complained to the Passage Yachts owner. The broker then insisted the boat had not sold because I set the price too high. After nearly a year I had another broker list the boat. They have just changed their name, another bad omen.

I bought a Beneteau from them and had poor representation from my buyer agent. Which left me exposed to leaks, dripping water pump and faulty furler. Which cost me a lot of time and a lot of money that should have been borne by the owner. Pretty sad when they don’t even make sure a Beneteau is in good condition before she leaves a Beneteau dealer. Beware.
