Phat Philly’s Subs

My husband brought home the best steak and cheese today. I have to say it was one of the best I have ever had.

HORRIBLE !!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. My $ 30 order was HARD NASTY PIECES OF MYSTERY MEAT. Nothing is fresh, and everyone has an attitude. The cheapskate owner argued with me and after insisting on a refund she offered to remake my order. I have a life and was not able to come back the same day, I told her I would be back in a couple of days that I live far away. I drive all the way there 48 hours later and owner says she will not replace or refund my order, she knew who I was and u had my receipt. She begins to yell and insult me over the phone and was very unprofessional. STAY AWAY ! I WANT MY $ 30 !!!

Classic Philly is incredible! Delicious chopped & seasoned Ribeye with just right amount of cheese. Only thing I’ve tried there. Should make an effort to get out of the gas station location though.

Food was good, prices were easy on the wallet. «Large» onion ring was on the small side. Wouldn’t call it the «best in richmond», but I’d certainly order from them again. Also, they no longer do delivery due to low demand.

Who knew a gas station would have such great Philly cheese steaks! My husband and I loved it! Staff was very friendly too!

I have eaten from here a few times over the past few months. I’ve tried their burger, cheese steaks, chicken philly, and fried whole chicken wings. I’m not sure what Toni K. ate, as I’ve never experienced what she describes in her review (besides the atmosphere, but I’m not sure what you should be expecting from the inside of a service station).
I would recommend the cheese steak highly, I’ve tried cheese steaks from well over a dozen restaurants in the greater Richmond area and this is the best. No frills, just a lot of well seasoned meat (fresh cut ribeye from what I understand), provolone cheese, onion, and mayo. I prefer to order mine with mushrooms, but the meat is what makes it exceptional.
The fried chicken wings were cooked perfectly and were on par with one of my favorite places to get wings (downtown), and they came with fries, which I hadn’t expected. The fries have a unique seasoning blend on them that takes «seasoning salt» to a very different place.
If the weather outside is decent, they’ve got a covered area out front with tables, otherwise I’d recommend take out (just make sure to eat those fries while they’re hot).

I stopped in for gas and saw they had subs. I decided to try it and LOVED it! It is my new favorite!
