Been here a few times, the first time was pretty good, not the best I ever but good enough for me to return. However, when I returned to order the same thing(flautas) they tasted disgusting, dry and old and I had a stomach ache after. Very inconsistent with the food!

The worst Mexican food ever! Plus, bugs in the bathroom. The one star is for the service, not too bad.

This place is really good, prices are great, and workers are very friendly. The serving size for lunch is large and will keep you full for the rest of the day. I recommend the super nachos and the spicy shrimp burrito.

***ZEROSTARS*** Honestly idk what happened they used to be good… I got nachos the other day, the meat tasted sooo gross i wanted to throw up — i’m pretty sure it was spoiled! The horchata was also gross &grainy, way to much sugar. My mom got fried tacos… They tasted like they had been sitting there. I would expect better from a mexican place in richmond SMH.

I’m so sad. First, I noticed that they don’t clean a la de-vein the shrimp. Then I found a hair in my food. I think I would’ve forgiven the hair if they provided some type of apology or expression of regret. *sigh* Goodbye flavorific Mexican food…

CONSUMERBEWARE! DONOTEATHERE!!! I went there for lunch yesterday. In my first slice of my steak quesadilla I chewed down on a big fat black razor blade. This could have sliced my tongue could have sliced my cheek or throat, but oh thank God! it did not. I Called them up and let them know I was on my way because there was a razor in my food. I got there, showed them the razor gave them my food, they looked at me, they talked in Spanish, through up her hands and said, what do you want me to do? gave me my money back. they did not check their food, they did not stop operation. they just verified yes it was a razor. I have called the safety department and everybody else I can think of. Most importantly, please consumer beware. DONOTEATHERE. This is not a joke. This is true story that happened to me on July 1st2014. it must be under new management because I did not recognize any of the employees. no apology, no I’m sorry, ma’am what can I do? oh my gosh ! none of that. I had to write this because the next customer may not be so lucky. I am still very traumatized. A razor blade really

Food was cheap and average tasting at best. The people were nice. The bathroom was in desperate need of work.

I have never been disapointed by my choices Chicken Fajitas asada quesadilla nachos asada burrito jamica-it’s a drink beans and rice are even good and those are easy to mess up. The employees are nice and deliver the food quickly.

Love this spot! The employees are nice. I work near by so I eat here often. The steak burrito is excellent and extremely affordable. They give chips and salsa with your order to go. I also ask for green sauce to go, plus a coke in the bottle.

This is in the hood, but alas i work in the hood so it’s all good. I used to go to this place all the time back in 2003 – 2004 but then it started being nasty and i never went again… until yesterday and wow the food quality has greatly changed… for the better and they have, wait for this, THECALIFORNIABURRITO!!! For anyone who has gone to wonderful San Diego you know what a California burrito is and I love those things, and no where else in the bay area have i seen a place that has it. But I finally found it, in the hood of Richmond. All of their food here tastes good, I went here yesterday with 4 friends, I had the California Burrito, my friend had 2 chicken, 1 beef taco, my other friends had tortas and we all left happy, the food is inexpensive and it tastes good, if you are in the area, definitely check this place out

I come here occasionally with friends. A small mom and pop shop in Richmond, not exactly in the best neighborhood, but good food at decent prices. It is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. However, you may run into some homeless people asking for some change outside. There is a good variety and lunch specials which include rice and beans. I usually order two tacos, with meat, onions and cilantro. There is complimentary basket of chips and salsa. You order up front and have the option of taking your food to go or eating at the tables. The aren’t a lot of tables, but enough to have a seat if interested. The cashier and servers are very friendly and bring your food over to you. I enjoy the tacos. I normally get the steak and chicken. I enjoy the meat and the portions are a good size. When in the area, I will drop by for lunch.

good, home cooked meat. The more you eat the burrito the less you worry about the small amount of meat.

Good little Taqueria close to the Richmond Kaiser. For under $ 5, I had a delicious lunch. Meat was tasty, fresh and not greasy. Sauces were fair authentic and again… not greasy. It’s a low brow tasty little taco hole in the wall.

Not bad here, the food is cheap and they make it quickly. My super burrito with chicken was $ 6.50. They were stingy with the tortilla chips but I’m sure if i asked for some more they wouldn’t have mind. Overall, not a bad experience though but just didn’t pop out at me…

This place screams average. It’s in a strip mall, about 5 minutes from Kaiser Richmond and is clean enough, cheap enough with standard taqueria fare. But everything was generic from the chicken which tastes only of chile powder, to the not-so-fresh-looking guacamole, to the undistinguished salsa. They do serve beer. I almost gave them an extra half star for being friendly. But the only reason to eat here is because you’re here. The are better choices within a short drive — Taqeira Estrella has much better food. Though more expensive and El Tapatio is both cheaper, better food and more interesting.

Awesome. Dirty looking place, dirt cheap food, filling and delicious. The kind of food that makes you tired for a while after ravenously stuffing your face. I recommend the Super Tacos. Oh, and strangely, I think the chicken is the best of the meat choices.

I cannot believe how cheap the food is here. Considering how much I normally pay up for a burrito, this place was good. Regular burritos(basically, no sour cream/guac) were about $ 3, and a super burrito was $ 4. Large assortment of meats to choose from, including carnitas, carne asada, carne verde, pastor, pollo, and even the cow tongue stuff! There was lots of other cheap stuff to choose from. I ordered a pastor regular burrito & a horchata($ 1.25) — disappointed that the pastor wasn’t spicy at all. Chips were alright, but salsa was a bit watery and there was only one type. I guess I expected more salsa-y goodness at a place called Salsa Taqueria. Nevertheless, it was a pretty darn good burrito, for an incredibly exceptional price. I’d go back if I were in the area. It’s about a 2 – 3 minute walk from Richmond BART.
