Spoke with a customer rep who would only tell me his name is T.C. I had a few questions about the oil change special that was being offered but he told me to just come in. When I asked him why he couldn’t answer the question over the phone he got impatient and seemed like he was telling me to come in so he could fight me. He seemed like a real tough guy. This will be my first and last time considering sears for their auto service. I will also be escalating this complaint to the BBB. I hope the phone call was recorded because the owners should know that if a customer calls in and gets the customer rep T.C. Answering the phone, that customer will most likely be lost.

I’ve never had any issues here. I’ve had my car worked on multiple times and I have always been in and out quickly and have paid very little. After an online coupon and rewards from my last servicing, I only paid $ 13 for an oil change today and left within 30 minutes. Their waiting room is clean and has a giant TV, but you can sign up for text alerts and wander around the ghost town that is Regency Square.

Maintain your sanity and never go to this place. Here is my story if you care.
I purchased a very expensive $ 250 battery that was totally unable to recharge after 13 months. Drove it here with another car. Warranty is full replacement in 48 months. They had to test battery for 45 min. I came back in 1.5 hours. They forgot to test it. Said it would take another 45 min. No big deal but did not plan to wait this long especially since I dont have a car if the battery is no good. Place is in a good location but by a very dated mall. This place was probably great in 1977 but it didn’t age well just like sears. How do they stay in business? Still waiting so hopefully they will not weasel out of warranty obligations. By the way the retail shelves are stocked with oil and junk on them etc. Way over priced and dusty. Evidently most people are not flocking to buy a quart of oil for $ 8.19 per quart, when you can get it at wal mart for $ 2.00. Surprise! Woman in front of me was waiting 2 hours for her car. It was sitting in the lot for almost 2 hours. They never told her it was done and all they did was top off the windshield fluid. Poor lady she was in her 80s and was very annoyed.
So another hour. Guy sets battery on the floor says its good and runs away without an explnation. So I asked to see a manager. Waited another half hour and walked into the shop because I got tired of waiting. He was never planning to talk to me. Manager took down info incase battery did not work. Got it home it did not work. After half a day dealing with these folks I went to auto zone. Test said battery was bad. Purchased a new one and works like a charm. Lesson learned. Never never go back to sears ever ever again. By the way I give many good reviews. If I had time id take these folks to small claims court but life is too short.
Id seriously go up the corporate food chain but no need. The culture is so bad now I can’t imagine anyone listening. I doubt they will be in biz in the next decade anyway.
