this was my third time in this venue. I love it. Load in is really easy, the theater has great acoustics, sound and lights. With no play to work around as in past years, this gig couldn’t have gone any smoother. I look forward to next years event. The venue itself has plenty of parking. the theater holds almost 500 – 600 people. The lobby and other areas are immaculate and have always had art shows and a gift shop to browse. They have good music as well going thru. If you live in the area consider yourself lucky to have this venue.

This is a wonderful facility! I was here for a ukulele festival and I couldn’t have had a more wonderful experience! There is ample parking and one can easily walk to the center wherever you park. I like they way the center is broken up into different buildings. It makes for an interesting venue, especially if you’re there for an entire day and evening. As we moved from classroom to classroom and more it never got dull. The courtyard is an enjoyable spot as well for grabbing a quick bite to eat or just sitting and relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. I look forward to returning again!

Went to a fun, free(donations for a local charity) all day bluegrass jam here yesterday. Really nice arts center with a gallery, a wine/coffee café, and multiple rooms for meeting, sitting and jamming. We live on the Southside but glad we checked this place out — we may go back soon for another program, as they have things going on all yr round.

A lot of folks who live on the far west side don’t always want to head downtown to see a concert or a show so it’s nice that there’s a performing arts center in their neighborhood. I discovered this place about a year ago when I was looking for a place to take a photography class. They offer all kinds of classes including music, photography, ceramics, jewelry making, and art. I couldn’t make the class times work with my schedule, unfortunately but it’s a gorgeous facility. I had no idea that they had live concerts here in two different venues. There’s a series called 2nd Stage that features local and regional musicians and performing arts groups. On the first Friday of each month, there’s a different kind of music from bluegrass to jazz and the tickets are cheap at $ 10. The bigger Center Season features more big regional and nationally known acts and tickets, accordingly, are more in the $ 30-$ 40 range.
