I just moved to Richmond and was looking for a salon that had good prices and had good reviews for highlights. I found Twins Salon on Unilocal and they didn’t disappoint. Ira pays great attention to detail and added some lowlights to give my blonde hair some definition. Azara did a nice job
trimming my hair and adding some layers. They are both very warm and friendly and their salon is clean and cheery. I will definitely be back!

Okay I’ll be the odd one out and say that my visit here wasn’t quite as pleasant as everyone else’s! Took a picture to show them and my hair looked nothing like it. I just wanted a long bob and what I got was a mullet. I argued for several minutes with one of the sisters over some layers that were supposedly in the picture that I didn’t see. Got $ 10 off because I wasn’t happy. I’m still not happy. Guess I’ll just wait another 6 months for my hair to grow out…

Fantastic find! I found Twins Salon through Unilocal and wanted to give it a try today because of the positive reviews. I was not disappointed! Ira and Azar are both warm, friendly and very professional. The salon is very clean and has a bright, inviting atmosphere. I felt comfortable right away. Ira does color, and Azar does the cut. I showed both of them a photo of the look I wanted, and I got exactly the fresh look I was hoping for! I booked another appointment before I left!

I have never been so impressed at a salon I just happen to walk into while out of town. Seriously. After being laid up in bed for two months unable to use my right arm at all, I needed serious help and I needed a makeover BAD. My hair was long and so over processed and so tired. Wasn’t sure what I wanted other than a scalp treatment and blow out, but I could not be more happy with my new hair and my new look!!! I was getting my nails done next door and heard from a couple of people how great these ladies are so I walked back over and they really took care of me.
They are kind and smart and sweet and classy.
Azar & Ira are both so sweet and so well educated on hair that they are truly experts. Each takes their specialty very seriously and each takes the time to talk to you before they start. I am SO PLEASED I will be driving back every 5 – 6 weeks to get my hair done — and I live 2 hours away!!! I highly recommend!!! TWO THUMBS UP FOR TWO BEAUTIFUL SISTERS!

I had a great experience at Twins Salon today. I consider myself a tough customer when it comes to my hair and am rarely satisfied by the results of a salon visit. Today, I walked out happy. I didn’t regret going to this salon which says a lot for me. I had highlights and a cut done so I worked with each twin (Ira and Azar). The highlights are amazing. Perfectly placed and toned just to my liking. It took a high-​priced city salon two visits before they achieved the look I wanted/​asked for. The best part about the highlights was the cost. I didn’t feel like I was getting gouged when I was told the total. I did get a cut as well, just a basic trim, and that did feel slightly overpriced ($ 55) however. I’m really glad I went here, I finally found a salon in SW Houston that meets my expectations.

Azar and Ira are passionate about hair and love what they do. They are internationally trained hairstylists whom have received advanced education from all over different parts of the world.
Ira used to be a student of mine and she is a connoisseur when it comes to color. She is detailed and a perfectionist.
Azar has a strong background and foundation of hairdressing considering she used to be an educator for years.
I no longer live in Houston/​Sugarland, but will definitely stop in for a haircut next time I’m in town.

Ira and Azar are very warm and welcoming. They have a great set up and process of one doing color and the other cutting. They take their time in finding out what you are looking for and then work their magic on your hair; giving it life and shine. I am very picky when it comes to a stylist and if I could, I’d recommend them 150%. They give you high end style at affordable prices. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

Ira and Azar are great with hair. My hair was in horrible condition and they are getting it back to normal. Ira is great with color and Azar with cutting my hair. They are interested in the clients needs.

I am so glad I was able to find Ira & Azar at their new salon! I have several perms done, and Ira is definitely the best at giving me a perfect beachy wave. They were also very sweet and welcoming at the salon. It is also very easy to get to. I had a great experience with Twins Salon, and they did a great job with my hair!

I am so excited about this salon! It is a definitely a gem in the neighborhood. I used to drive long distances to my old salon. (Yes, I am one of those really picky people.) Twins Salon is the best I have ever been to. Ira is a master of color. She is knowledgeable and meticulous with her work. I am most impressed with her skills. Love love love her! Azar is amazing with her haircuts. She listened to all of my concerns and gave me the best cut ever. She taught me how to style my hair easily and gave me an awesome style out. My family and I will be coming here from now on.
