This is the first and last time my fiancé and I will be going. We ordered in. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich(with fries, Cajun seasoning) and he got the grilled salmon steak. My chicken had way too much seasoning, and had a strange perfume aftertaste to it. The only thing I could stomach were the fries, and I LOVE chicken. The salmon was very bland, and the whole dish was shamefully under seasoned. The side of cooked veggies looked and tasted like someone dumped a bag of frozen food in the microwave for a few minutes. The pasta noodles that came with the salmon we’re good, but considering the pepper crème sauce was so plain and lacking I flavor, the pasta as a whole was nothing impressive. The only thing I tasted in the whole dish was the freezer burn on the salmon which was probably kept in storage for God knows how long since they didn’t seem to be doing much business. All things considered, it could have been worse, but at a 27 dollar pricetag for 2 entrees it was very disappointing and we will not be eating there again

Went in here for lunch real quick cause I got into Richmond early for a doctor’s appointment. Staff was excellent, place was really clean and food was fantastic. I got two pieces of pizza and a drink for less than $ 6 and I barely could finish the pizza — they were so big! Great sizes for the price!

Wonderful pizza and super nice staff. The crust is a traditional New York style and has always been prepared quickly and piping hot. This will become our«go to» pizza joint and we hope to try more menu items. Closed on Sunday’s is a serious mistake. Football and pizza go hand in hand!

Food is phenomenal, but the girls they have answering the phone are incompetent. Pizza is delicious. Their lobster bisque is some of the best I have ever had! Delivery is too slow. Girls on the phone are idiots. I asked to talk to a manager and was told they don’t have one… They have teenagers running the store.

We were a fan of Vinny’s when located on Forest Hill, we heard they moved to this location, we were disappointed that is is an Express location and did not have ALL the same selections and adorable decorum, but we were pleasantly surprised that they have the staples with their same great sauce on the lasagna and chicken Parmesan. The portions are great, and we had excellent service. We are happy to go out of our way for some of the best lasagna in Richmond. Just note there is limited parking in their lot, also it is not a dive but is no frills.

Pretty good, not spectacular, a bit on the pricey side for the kind of food and service you’re getting. There are a million places like this, but a lot of them are awful. Good for an unsurprising meal. Service was friendly the two times I went.

I got the menu in the mail this week so I thought I’d try it. Well, ordering over the phone for delivery is easy although I was asked to hold every other minute. The prices on my receipt were higher than that on the menu, and the food is okay. You get a lot of food though. The pasta is okay and they are light on the sauce. Delivery guy was super friendly though.

Vinny’s offers a small array of typical Italian-American dishes and pizzas in a fast-casual type of atmosphere. I’ve been here twice since they opened a month or two ago. I’ve had lasagna and a plain pizza and both were on the meh side. Not terrible, but definitely dull. I guess this is better than tasting bad, and it’s certainly better than Olive Garden – though that’s obviously not saying much. The pizza sauce was particularly bland, but on the bright side, the crust is just right and I appreciate the use of an actual pizza oven and not the conveyor belt kind. Many of the entrees allow you to order a side salad for a few dollars extra. But It would be nice if they would offer at least one homemade salad dressing. It’s really not that hard to make… vinegar, olive oil, fresh garlic and a few seasonings. Packets of salad dressing are a big turnoff. Like the salad dressings, the garlic bread has an overly processed quality and an artificial aftertaste. I would rather just have plain bread and butter. I would probably eat again but only if I was bored and didn’t have any other options. But it’s 2015, not 1995. People like bold, fresh, natural flavors. If they seasoned the food a bit more and got rid of the processed stuff they could be a contender, otherwise I expect this restaurant to whither on the vine.

Horrible customer service. The first time I went there to pick up my to-go order, a bunch of employees were sitting around a table, talking, and took forever to greet me and give me my food. They didn’t give me the sauces on the side they promised. A couple weeks later, the girl on the phone taking our order seemed clueless, she didn’t even know if they carried french fries. We hung up.

First experience was not express. 45 minute wait for dinner. Ordered parm sandwich and salmon dinner. My husband and I watched my salmon be delivered to another table. took 15 to 20 minutes for replacement meal to be made and brought out to my table. I have only ordered pizza from this place and only do pickup. Cannot speak to delivery turnaround time. Will not do another meal from this place again. I can cook pasta better and it is cheaper in the long run. Only a backup restaurant for when I do not want to get in the car.

Service was quick, but the quality of the food suffered. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana with Pasta. The pasta was cooked perfect, but the sauce didn’t even adhere to it and tasted store bought. The chicken was the worst part. It was paper thin and the crust had a weird aftertaste. For a dish that is so simple they REALLY messed up!
