This pharmacy needs more staff for efficiency and better service. We use this pharmacy because it is close to the home and because of the brand. They are always behind and pending what time of day the staff is stressed and not very happy. More help in the pharmaceutical department needed less stress for the staff faster service for the customers especially after discharge from a major surgery

So ridiculous. I arrive at 6:55 am unaware the they open at 7. The manager looks at me shakes his head no and fumbles around with his fingers trying to show 7. So I sit back in my car and wait. They don’t end up opening their doors till 7:06 which equals my son late to school. All I needed was gel!!!

I’m giving this place 3 stars since the store staff is kind and helpful. I visit this place more often than the CVS which is down the street from me. Also the Walgreens has 2 Redbox machines for you to rent movies. It’s a nice location and a clean store. As for the pharmacy I can’t really give them good rating. I went to pick up a prescription and a young Middle eastern pharm tech greeted me. He wasn’t professional and was rather making me feel uncomfortable. He started joking why I was using this RX which I thought was completely inappropriate. The Asian pharmacist seemed nice and helpful but the pharm staff seems too relaxed and unprofessional. While waiting for my prescription I could see them smacking their gums throwing papers across the pharmacy and messing around.

This Walgreens on West Park & Mason is the slowest, most inefficient Pharmacy compared to CVS, SAMs, Katy Medical, et al. I usually wait in line at the very least half an hour & once for over 2 hours at the pharmacy drive-thru just to turn in my prescription! With a sick husband just out of surgery at home awaiting antibiotics, this is just unacceptable. Then of course Walgreens’ Rx won’t be ready for hours! When I try to talk to the pharmacist who is supposedly helping me, she won’t hear because her head is instantly turned away talking to someone else. They need to expand their business & hire more pharmacists or bring in some high tech to service a growing clientele. I’ve switched ALL of our families Rx to Walmart.
