This is well overdue, but better late than never. Driving from San Francisco to Vermont, we got a flat on the GWB, and ended up driving to Aces on the spare to get another tire. It was very near closing time, but the staff was very accodating and stayed open until we got there and got us fixed up in a flash. Not only that, they gave us a $ 5 gift card for Dunkin Doughnuts as well. Great job guys! Highly recommended!

I stopped by this shop based on word of mouth from some folks I know in ridgefield and this place is as honest as a car repair shop can be! I went it for a bent rim and they analyzed the wheel and said its fine to keep and no need to replace. On top of that they didn’t even charge me. I would recommend this place if you need your car or tire needs !!

I hobbled into Ace Tire with a flat tire at 7:15 AM going to work. They helped me right away, tried to repair the tire, but it was shot so they sold me an extra they had in the shop. Could not have been nicer, and got me on the road quickly.
Apparently they do maintenance and repair work too. Call Rich, and start frequenting this local place.

I had a bad creaking noise coming from the from of my classic station wagon. I drove it in at lunch and a few hours later they said it just needed some grease in the bushings. When I went to pay, they handed me the keys and said no charge. That was not expected and really appreciated. Definitely recommend these guys.

This review is long overdue. I came here after driving from NYC on a spare tire because the GW ANNIHILATED one of my tires. It was almost noon on a Saturday and I was headed to Vermont, low on funds and desperate to find a used tire. After calling, I don’t know, nine or ten other places to see if they had a used tire in the right size, Ace pulled through. 50 bucks for a very decent used tire, including the labor.
But the best part is when I went in to pay. The three guys behind the counter (who were all very nice to me despite my probably off-​putting desperation) were hanging out with the chillest pug I’ve ever met, AND with my receipt they gave me a gift card to Dunkin Donuts! On a super stressful day these guys were a god send.

I got a flat tire on the road and was told that I could probably get it repaired, but I was concerned about going somewhere that would pressure me into buying a new tire (or four). I went to Ace Tire & Auto to see if they could repair it. Not only were they able to repair it, but I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes, and they told me the repair job should last the life of the tire. No pressure to buy new tires or have any extra services done to my car, just great service AND the gentleman helping me was about as nice as they come. A very pleasurable experience all around!

We use Ace for all three of our cars plus bought a great set of tires here. Don’t go to the dealer come here. For my last small problem the car wouldn’t start it was a loose battery post, no charge from Ace. Thanks!

These guys are life savers. I cruised in during a snow storm (on my way to work) with my tire lights on and wipers busted. They took care of me in no time and at a reasonable price. They provided great service on a day when other shops turned me away. Will gladly recommend to others. If you have car troubles and it’s snowing they (most likely) will be open when others in the area aren’t.

Throughout the fall /​early winter I noticed that I had a hole in my exhaust system. Due to pure laziness on my part it went unchecked for some time. I knew what the repair would entail and the cost for parts but just didn’t have the time (or motivation) to do the work myself. After I received my notice for emissions in the mail I knew that my truck would fail if I didn’t fix the exhaust leak.
I work nearby and pass the shop everyday coming and going to/​from work but figured that they only serviced tires. After going online and reading some reviews I saw that they also perform light/​medium duty truck repairs, so I figured it was worth a shot. I brought my truck in yesterday with no appointment or call ahead. The younger gentleman at the counter was polite and professional and took my information and said that they would take a look and give me a call with an estimate for the repairs. About 1 ½ hrs later I received a call and the quote provided was within the prices that I had researched, but did not include tax. After receiving my ok he said that he would have to call to make sure that they parts were available. A few minutes later he called back to confirm that they were and stated that the truck would be ready that afternoon. About 15 minutes before I left work I got a call saying that the truck was ready. To my surprise, the cost of the repair was cheaper than they quote even after taxes were figured in. I picked up the truck and was met by another gentleman who was very cordial and informative when he heard of my search for a new vehicle.
On time and under quote. This is the type of business mentality that is lost in a fast paced «what’s in it for me» business world. I will definitely be back and have already recommended the shop to a few friends who live nearby.

The people here saved my day!
I popped two tires, in a pot hole, while rushing home for my daughters 1^st birthday and by the grace of God a gentleman who worked here drove by.
He called ahead to ask the guys to stay late to help me and ensure they had the correct tires… And he drove me there himself.
Not only did they do a great job, but they were so accommodating!

Ace tire saved the day for me. I was on my way to a wedding in Maine, driving from Connecticut., had a flat. Precision Brake works refused to fix the flat, said i had to leave the car all day. i said i have to be at a wedding 250 miles away in 6 hours, no deal, sorry. Too bad. We are busy.
Unbelievable.
We called Ace, 3 miles away, Ace said, bring the car in, we went, they found a screw in the tire and less then 30 minutes later we were on our way, patched from the inside, balanced and no worries. easy. Best experience ever in a tight situation.
The people at ACE could not have been nicer or more professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

We found Ace on the internet, and gave them a try.
The first impression was good — the shop was reasonably neat and clean, and the waiting area had nice new chairs. Sharon was friendly and helpful.
We had a nail in our tire, and it sat flat on a rocky driveway for days. The mechanic discovered that the wieght of the rim squeezing the sidewall against the sharp rocks had damaged the sidewall, so the tire could not be repaired. That surprised me, but when he pointed it out, I could see the damage. I appreciated his thoroughness.
He installed the new tire quickly, while I waited, and the price was better than fair. Sharon and the mechanic were very straighforward and honest.
We’ll be back.
