Back in Ridgefield for the first time in two years and couldn’t stay away from my favorite stomping ground for excellent food and atmosphere. To my pleasant surprise, the most charming part of eating at the Little Pub has always been, Jack, the host, entertainer, waiter, whatever is needed to keep that establishment humming! And to think he remembered my name after two years! Talk about special service! can’t wait to go back! Too bad Jack only works one night a week! Onto the food… The sliders(cooker medium rare) were as good if not better than I remembered and coming back from Boulder, CO we get the best grass fed beef there. All I can say is open a little Pub in Boulder, CO and send Jack out to run it!

Chose this place because its: a) a gastro pub, b) pretty near the Ridgefield Playhouse, c) gets good reviews. So glad I did! Food was really delicious and had a nice relaxed casual vibe. Service was terrific. Great draft beers and definitely recommend the pork tacos. Husband could not have been happier. We’ll be back!

The perfect pub: burger done just as you ask, with great combinations of sauces, rubs, condiments, etc. Not a huge selection of beer on tap, but always 2 or 3 you don’t see in any other bar or in a liquor store. The burgers are so good I’ve never had anything else, but my wife really likes the salmon salad. Great waitstaff. All around professional establishment

Driving through CT from NYC on occasion and found our favorite spot in Ridgefield had closed. Took a chance and drove here. The British phone box outside told me almost everything I needed to know. Great menu, great food, great service. What else do you want? Will most certainly be back.

So it’s been 6 years since we’ve eaten here. Nothing has changed. The burger still stinks. No point in describing the entire meal, just read my review from 6 years ago. It still stands. This place has to be surviving on drinks because the food really does suck. People need to start reviewing food before they start drinking. Then they would realize how bad some places really are.

Great local restaurant with great food and good service. The menu has good variety for both food and drink! I’ve never had anything there I didn’t like. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it can be really really noisy and crowded, but it is a «little pub».

Hands down my favorite place to eat and drink with friends. The décor, atmosphere, food and heavy pour drinks are all my reasons for loving this place!

Holy crap are you kidding me?! Love at first bite doesn’t do this place justice! My husband and I moved from LA a month ago and have been searching for that go to spot, so excited we found it! We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the steakhouse burger. Both were amazingly tasty. My only tiny complaint would be that our sweet potato fries were cold, but that defiantly won’t deter us away from coming back again and again.

Best restaurant in the Ridgefield area, hands down! Impossible to have a bad meal here, or a bad time. They offer an extensive menu of amazing dishes ranging from lobster Mac and cheese to moo shoo tacos. You can be a regular here, and enjoy a different meal each time you come. The best part– every entrée is priced around $ 15 and under for a very generous sized plate. They also have a great beer and wine list, and bartenders who are very knowledgable to help you select something to your liking. The atmosphere is comfortable and very welcoming, attracting locals of all ages. Only downfall of Little pub is their valet parking. You will park your car very close to the restaurant, but will be required to use a valet and wait for your car. Not the biggest deal– but slightly annoying to have to tip a guy to walk 60ft to get & park your car.

Cute pub that actually is fairly«little!» If you’re looking for a cozy English style pub serving(mostly) American fare, this is it. We were seated promptly and enjoyed a delicious lunch — my wife enjoyed her burger and fries, my «thanksgiving dinner» wrap was fantastic(nice cranberry sauce guys!) — though I am very glad I asked for no mayo and my parents really enjoyed their meals. They could step up their game a little by offering some healthier sides besides fries and sweet potato fries — maybe some sautéed vegetables or something. Service was good and restrooms were clean enough.

Great food very good service and nice Décor we will be back probably often. My wife and I shared a chicken wrap it was plenty for us and they gave us a ton of fries . My daughter had a kids cheese burger, I tried it and it was very good. I love that they didn’t skimp on the quality with the kids meals she got a bunch of fries too

One of the best restaurants in the area. Haven’t had a bad meal on the menu and we go there routinely a minimum of once a week. My husband loves the burgers, fish tacos, and rare beer selection. It’s a very comforting place with a great staff that are always accommodating. We usually sit at the bar and either Tim, Dave, or Ryan take very good care of us. A must go if in the area!

I came here based on a recommendation of a co-worker and I’m glad I did. Had a burger with some fries and a couple of beers you don’t often find on tap. The service was excellent. The food was really good(I need to get back here and try some other dishes!). But real star in this pub is the beer. If you’re a beer aficionado, a beer lover or a beer snob… get over here right now and you’ll find some of the rarest beers around. I said NOW!

The food here is outstanding! I’ve tried the fish tacos and the burger. I know I had a sandwich here once that was also very good but I forget which one. The staff competency level is a mixed bag. While some staffers have really knocked it out of the park, others have fallen short. Last time I was in here, I was originally seated in a noisy area. Asked to be moved. They kindly moved me and promptly left me there to rot. Bah. Food is still good and most of the staffers have a good attitude and work ethic.

What a charming Ridgefield find! Yes, it does look like an English pub on the inside. They also have an outside that is covered and heated in the winter. We ordered a Stella and a British IPA on tap. Both were good. Now the food is very good here! A delicious lunch: 1) veggie tostada = sweet potato, kale, guacamole, mushrooms, black beans, pico, corn, cilantro, lime sour cream 2) ahi tuna tacos = seared ahi tuna, field greens, pineapple, jicama, mint slaw, flour tortillas, wasabi, lemon yogurt Great service. I would definitely return!

This is the cutest little place! We came here for lunch. Our cousin was raving about how awesome it was, and he was totally right! We were seated out in their HEATED balcony. It even started to snow while we in here, it was really nice. The menu is rather vast for such a small place. They had pretty much whatever you may be craving at the time. My buds had been going crazy for a dirty fish taco. My son wanted a chicken and fries, as usual and my hubby was in the market for a sandwich. We were all able to get what we were craving. They also had a pretty decent selection of beer. I got the trucker fish taco… l or some sort of name like that. The sound of it made me drool. I went straight for that item. I was hesitant, because they had an ahi taco that also sounded marvelous. I was leaning towards the greasy. So I went for the fried one. It was really good, but honestly, after the first one, the breading seemed to be a bit much for my taste. All the flavors that my taste buds were dying for were there. Everyone else really enjoyed their food. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for us. I totally recommend this place! It is great!

After a very LONG year, and many failed attempts at getting back out here, I finally managed to trek down to Little Pub, bringing another friend along with me. I just love the inside of this place and the kind of vibe you get when you walk in. Everyone is super friendly, helpful with recommendations, and the ever-changing beer list remains top notch. We started with the poutine as an appetizer which was pretty fattening and insanely delicious. The cheese, gravy, and bacon doused over a pile of fried really clogged the arteries a bit. No complaints. I ended up with a burger this time, the habanero burger to be exact, because last time I had the Thanksgiving wrap and wanted to delve into something a little more pub-like. Fantastic and spicy, exactly the way I like anything. My friend ended up ordering the lobster mac and cheese, which came out as a generous portion and smelled/tasted phenomenal. You could really distinguish the many flavors apparent in the dish. Service was great again and the bartender even walked over to double check that I was aware of how potent and different the beer I ordered was, since most people order it, dislike it, then send it back, completely wasting a great smoked beer. The brew I got was perfect and complimented the burger I ordered along with the atmosphere we were in. Same great feel, same great food, same great brews. Little Pub is a joy to come to and will definitely be one of my favorites in the area.

In winter, this area is snowy wonderland… It’s cold, bare, and beautiful in a wintery frozen way… But there is a place where you can thaw up, rest up and enjoy soul-warming food and friendly service. It called Little Pub. You cannot miss it from the road — just look for a bright red phone booth! Yep, that’s right, old-school phone booth. A bar, small dining area with roaring fireplace and cozy décor welcomes you as soon as you step in. It warm and perfect for dinner, or drinks. If you’re just stopping for lunch, tho(yes, they do serve lunch!), there is a sunny enclosed terrace — to soak up some of the sparse winter sunshine, and I am sure it will be perfectly breezy on summer days when they open it up. Service is very quick, which I certainly appreciate at lunch time(or any time of the day, really). Seafood Bisque with langoustines and clams was hot and savory. But it was Ahi Tuna Tacos that won a star of the show award that day. Rare ahi tuna, perfectly seared and seasoned, soft tortillas, jicama mint salsa, mandarins, mixed greens & lemon wasabi sauce. So fresh and sooo good. Little Pub get thumbs up from me, big time. Amazing little place.
