ok food. The place is basic and simple and the staff is lazy!!!

Here’s the deal. Just better than fast food on Main St. I am sure the rent precludes any true value. Food is barely adequate above salads. Pasta dishes are less than flavorful. Want this place to be better than it is, since sitting outside on Main St. on a nice day couldn’t be better with a good meal and good company. Service is slow.

We were in the area and decided to give this place a shot. We came in around 1pm and there was only one inside table that had people at it. Some of the outside tables were full. We got seated and waited. Finally someone came and took our drink order. We went ahead and ordered our food as well as we had waited so long to get someone to the table. We ordered the chicken Marsala and the turkey club sandwich. Both were ok once the food actually showed up. The time between us ordering and getting our food was close to 40 minutes and the place had no one in it. We were there for close to two hours for lunch in the middle of the week. We would not recommend this place and will not return. The service and pricing was terrible.

The food is outstanding. We are both vegetarian so my partner and I had few options but what we had was delicious. The butternut squash lasagna was outrageous and the carrot cake was the

I enjoy the bakery and the bagels so gave the restaurant another try. Service is sloooooooow, likely because ownership only had one server, and after the sloooooooow service they brought my little girl the wrong order (cheddar instead of swiss — server put it in correctly). They offered a discount or 20 percent for something my young. girl could hardly eat. Bathroom had no wipes for hands and a few flies circled and landed in our plates. Adiós to TT.

This was our first visit to Tom Toms & we were not disappointed! We all had something different, Northeaster, what’s your beef, green lantern & turkey club– all were prepared perfectly! Great service; will definitely return!

I’ve tried to give this place a second chance, as every place deserves one. It’s just not happening. First time, ordered the Greek salad… My salads ratio was 40%cucumber/ 40%tomatoes/ 10%feta cheese/​9% olives /​1% lettuce… Horrible
Salad ratio. My sister and I ordered salads and took about 20 minutes for our salads to arrive and we were the only customers in the place. Second time I ordered the fried chicken because I heard their chicken is the go-​to order. Not satisfied… Chicken was salty and soggy… My two stars go to the prime seating they have outside on Main Street… Perfect place to sit for the Memorial Day parade

first time I came here the service was incredibly slow and they were out of bacon… BACON!
second time (just now) the service was fantastic and the food was delicious.
great outdoor seating, decent prices, and the brunch is great. $ 25 pre fix with a coffee mimosa and choice of breakfast is great

This place is alright. We were in town for our wedding and had lunch here with friends. The food was good, but not great. I ordered sweet potato fries with my meal which were good. A few people at the table ordered regular fries which were more like hash browns and impossible to eat. What ruined our visit was our waitress (Her name started with a J). She was extremely rude and acted as if she had to go out of her way to serve us. One of the people in our group asked if the chicken salad had grapes in it (fair question), and the waitress may as well have rolled her eyes. She just started blankly back at our friend and said «Um. No.» Service was very slow and whenever the waitress was at our table she had an attitude.
When our check finally came at the end of our meal, she had everyone’s meals on the same check. She didn’t even bother to ask how/​if we wanted the checks separate. When we asked her to separate them, she was (yet again) rude. Suffice it to say she did not get a good tip from any of us and we will not be back.
The manager (I believe that’s who it was) was very nice when we walked out, thanking us for our visit. I don’t know how he can be so nice, yet hire such unpleasant workers.

The food was just ok — my black bean/​veggie burger was really flavorful, although I didn’t get the use of thai sauce on a black bean burger. Didn’t really mesh for me. My colleague’s buffalo wrap was ok, but really lacking on the cheese which is a bummer. The patio seating is really nice, with cute umbrellas and twinkly lights.
But the ambiance doesn’t make up for the service. It was morbidly slow, and there really wasn’t a good reason for it as the place wasn’t very busy for lunch on a Wednesday. I had to get up and bring our check/​credit cards to another waitress because ours failed to come back to get it and left us sitting there for 10 minutes. The owner also walked past us twice in that time and didn’t pick it up.
Overall, this place needs a little work — I’m sure with some menu changes and improvement in service they can get there.

I came here for breakfast and lunch and was really impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. The sandwiches are great and worth every penny! Will return for sure!

We waited half an hour for our meal and the steak was burnt, the seafood pasta was cold. We returned both dishes in return for burgers and even they were not very good. They used canned mushrooms for the burger. The burgers were greasy. And, not saying they have roaches, but… there was a large hard shelled insect that crawled up my coat. It crawled away too fast to see.

The food is good but the wait staff really need to bone up on service and pay attention. They are very nice and friendly but seem very distracted.
Been back after a couple of years. Great food, large portions, great service, great staff.

Nice staff but the Flank Steak was nothing to write home about… at all. great french fries tho!

The location on Main Street is convenient and easy to find. The food was well prepared and served in reasonable portiions. The staff was friendly and attentive. Casual atmosphere.

Spent a terrific Friday the 13^th evening there. Wonderful food, excellent wait staff
and the singer, Annie Nirschel, provided great music all night long.
It was a perfect way to spend a cold February night. The location could not be better, a block or so from the Ridgefield Playhouse in the center of a very quaint New England town. Had the fried chicken, outstanding, along with the apple pie ala’ mode.
Returned a week or so later, had the sirloin, perfectly done. Interesting choices of selections and an ever-​evolving menu. Also really enjoyed the $ 3 mixed drink in the bar area. Perfect start to the evening and an exotic drink menu.
Am looking forward to returning as the weather improves.

What drew me in was how pretty their restaurant is! The front of the restaurant is all glass windows, so you can get a nice peek at the sleek interior. I ended up picking a veggie hummus sandwich from their large menu & a tomato bisque soup. Both were very good & I’d be excited to try them out again!
They also had a solo musician playing near the entrance on the weekday I went. They close fairly early, so call ahead to see if they have some music!

The kids and are love coming here in a Saturday morning for fresh bagels and bacon, egg, and cheese!

Wanted to try something new for lunch and took a look at the extensive sandwich menu. My wife and I split the bethel and van wilder. Loved both! The fresh bread really made it. Park in the cvs lot and walk to this ridgefield gem!

Great little find in Ridgefield! We went there for a rehearsal dinner and I had low expectations of good food being served to such a large group at the same time. I and my girl friend were pleasantly surprised. The Salmon was fresh and cooked perfectly & the pasta was al dente with very fresh veggies & not drowned in sauce. They also have their own bakery & I have to say I’m a bit of a Macaroon snob and theirs were in my top 5! Bravo. On the way out the owner put out a large tray of fresh bagels & asked us to please take some for breakfast the next morning. The bagels were also wonderful and made for a terrific breakfast.
