stop in for there muffin all the time! Nothing beats food right out of the ovens. Baked fresh daily can’t be beat!

For a train station it’s hard to beat freshly baked muffins, etc. Coffee is pretty good too. I feel lucky to have such a good spot in the morning while on the run. Hot egg sandwiches would have pushed this review to 5 stars. I’ve ridden the Long Island Rail Road for years into Penn Station, the Hudson line from Poughkeepsie, and the New Haven line. Try going to South Norwalk station, with baked goods wrapped in plastic shipped from wherever, and disgusting Folgers coffee. The Whistle Stop is amazing compared to most stations in the Metro Area. The owners are passionate and you can tell!

Excellent Pies, but too expensive. We ordered 2 pies for Thanksgiving one Pumpkin, one Pecan. They were outstanding but each one costs $ 36($ 72 for both). It was a little surprising, Just how god can pies like these be? They were good but not worth the price.

Fresh baked goods but Stop & Shop quality, Green Mountain coffee, and little to no tea selection. Good for those with no choice enroute via train but otherwise keep on driving if looking for a café.
