I visited this coffeeshop for the first time today. Very impressed. Service was very polite. The atmosphere was very inviting and not too noisy to keep me from concentrating. The caramel latte I had was the best I’ve had in Jackson or the surrounding area. The chocolate muffin was very tasty. Apparently, they homemake all their sauces, like the caramel. It’s refreshing to see a new business that has such attention to detail. They have many drink concoctions they have developed, too. I’m in medical school, and I may have just found my favorite study spot.

This review is based on one experience, since it was great, I’ll probably go for another to see if it’s 5 star worthy. Honestly the four star rating is for 2 reasons: First my greeting into the place the first time was lack luster, the UPS delivery man dropping off stuff said hey to me before the people working there did. For small town coffeeshops in Mississippi, if they’re not busy I expect a warm welcome when I walk in. Secondly it’s my first time, consistency is the number 1 quality defined for a coffeeshop, when they meet that mark they will be worthy of 5 stars and I’ll let you know. The environment is certainly one of the best in the Ridgeland area, although a little too dark, I think they need more lighting, sconces or lamps perhaps. I like a dark ambiance for a place like this but only through colors in the walls, flooring and décor, not because of the lack if lighting. It’s not a bar. There are two levels to sit in and even a chess board if you want to challenge a friend. I already critiqued the employees, however they were still pleasant, speedy, attentive to my specific requests and offered a fond farewell. The drink selection is on a chalkboard, very bohemian, not overwhelming. They offer classic espresso pulls(which any coffee connoisseur appreciates) and specialty lattes. I’m sure they would whip up any combination if they have the flavored available. I ordered a plain latte to get a good taste of the espresso in milk. The espresso has a smooth nutty flavor with low acidity. The mellow was more sweet than salty, which I like and is great for lattes. It wasn’t too rich, but full enough to denote quality and skill in the pull. The body is mild which makes this is great drink to enjoy with desserts. The color was a light chestnut, perhaps their grind it a bit too large on the espresso. A proper grind usually makes a darker latte. Overall it was delicious and perfect today because my stomach can’t handle anything too strong at the moment. Compared to other locals: Try this place for a smooth flavored mild coffee and calming quiet environment. Go to CCs on Hwy 51 for a brighter environment and stronger but not too strong coffee(great place for Mochas and groups). Go to Cups for a coffee with explosive bite and flavor that will linger long after your last sip. Great for straight coffee or espresso.

Hands down best coffee place in Mississippi! Well, actually this is the best coffee place I have ever been to Stateside! Not only is M7 the best coffee place I have ever been to in the United States but it is the one with the biggest heart. The founders of M7 coffee are community based folks with philanthropic aspirations to transform«tattered buildings» within the area into«a refuge where people can better their lives.» The M7 family in 2014 opened the Red House-Community Meeting House in 2014 for the downtrodden and since then have opened M7 coffee house for the locals to unwind, socialize, and fall into deep contemplation. The quality put into M7 coffee house can be seen from the furnishings to the coffee. Every piece of furniture in the building has obviously been hand-selected and finished with love. The Starr piano that sits in the cozy room of the place is gorgeous and adds a classic feel to the joint. I read below that someone called the style of this place Neo-Southern and if this is the way decoration in the South is heading I surely approve. The food and coffee is also so well done. I’m currently enjoying the«Hazy Baby» in a large and it is fabulous! It’s made with nutella and love. The coffee taste in this place is robust and full, something that is hard to find in «coffee shops» these days. Even my beloved Starbucks can’t compare. I’m sold and will soon be an official regular here. It’s a 30 minute drive from where I’m residing but this place is so comfortable I’ll be spending around 5 hours here every visit so the drive is worth it. LOVELOVELOVEM7, coffee places around town need to take note.

What a gem! This place is adorable and so delicious. Great atmosphere and décor. Tons of space so there’s plenty of room for hanging out, studying, meetings, etc. without feeling crowded like other coffee shops in the area. Highly recommend the Hazy Baby and Spanish Latte. Yum! Can’t wait for the weather to warm up to enjoy their great patio space.

Checked this new coffee house out last week. Really cool and comfortable atmosphere. Fairly crowded. Had coffee and a couple of muffins. Everything was really good. Nice that it’s not just another chain type establishment. Will definitely make this one of my regular spots.

I love love love this new little coffee shop! It’s just around the corner from where I work, so I love stopping by in the morning for a quick breakfast and latte. The staff is always super nice and greets every customer that comes through the door. The interior is pretty cool too with it’s rustic southern charm. In one of the side rooms there’s a small piano where I’ve seen kids taking lessons and customers whipping out some pretty cool tunes. My favorite drink by far is their Spanish latte! It’s probably one of the most delicious coffee house drinks I’ve ever tasted. If you’re looking for breakfast food, try anything! It’s all tasty!

My mother and I stopped in while we were in Jackson and wow I might drive back to Jackson just to come here. The coffee is exquisite and the biscuits and scones are fantastic. The ambience is neo-southern and extremely cool. This is what the new South is about!

My husband and I went for our lunch break because it’s very close to our jobs. The ambiance is cool, with a tin ceiling and rustic, wooden walls. Our barista greeted us kindly and helped us pick out what we wanted since it’s new in town! I got the toasted pecan latte and my husband got a mocha. Both were fabulous! They have an upstairs that has comfy couches, which we’ll have to try out next time. We opted to sit in the front room, which has standard chairs and tables. I’ll be frequenting M7 often in the coming months, for sure!
