Classic carvel establishment with two soft serve favors vanilla and chocolate. They stick to their traditional roots and serve the classic, whenever I crave a shake or Sunday this is my first choice. The staff has always been warm and welcoming.

This place has been around FOREVER! It has definitely been there at least 30 years. It is really a cute, tiny ice cream parlor that looks like it could have been a blast from the past. It has a very 1960’s looking feel. I honestly think it may have been there since the 60’s, but don’t quote me. Carvel has the BEST ice cream on the planet(at least in my opinion). I may be bias because it was my childhood ice cream parlor and it was always a cheap cone with the works. As I said, it is very small and because of that, there isn’t anywhere to sit and enjoy your ice cream. It’s sort of an ice cream drive-through. There is an extremely small 3 – 4 car parking lot just outside of the establishment. I’d say it is small because people go in, get the ice cream and leave straight away. All-in-all, this place is great for getting ice cream, shakes and birthday cakes.

Great milkshakes. Very creamy ice cream. Ordered two milkshakes & picked up a box of six pre-made sundae cups. Everything came to twenty bucks. Not too bad. Will definitely be back again. Staff was very helpful and moved customers along quickly.

I will never buy here again. I was looking for an ice cream cake and saw a small frozen roach in the freezer on top of one of the cake boxes. I now go to the Carvel on Myrtle Ave which I find to be much cleaner and also cheaper.

Wow, SO happy to find this ‘old school’ Carvel. Was going to the one on Metropolitan in Forest Hills but they were SO inconsistent(opened when they kinda felt like it) and parking was a pain. After experiencing the friendly service and free parking we have found our new ice cream place! Thank you!

A small oreo carvelanche is $ 5. That’s a lot just to spinkle some bits of oreo in my soft serve. This carvel used to let me pay by credit card… but lately they say that there is a $ 10 minimum. Please! If you take credit cards, and you sell ice cream, you should expect people to hand you a card for a $ 5 tab.
