SOANNOYED! I’ve been buying from this place since 2007! All of the sudden the recipe changed and everything tastes different and not in agood way. But I’m a loyal person and I kept ordering from them because I thought they had good customer service. Key word«thought». Not the case anymore… They have never honored their coupons on Seamless. Is it so hard to throw a can of soda in the order as promised??? Also this time I got a wrong order and stayed on the phone with a gentleman who wouldn’t budge to make things right with a long time customer and this is the only time I ever complained in 8 years. He tried to tell me I’m wrong??? Well I’m also Asian so I know what I’m talking about. Google also agrees with me. I’m so done with this place taking my business elsewhere. Moving on!

This was an affront to Mexican food everywhere. The burrito wrap was a half size too small and was basically a 9 inch soft taco stuffed with sub-par ingredients and folded in half. The nacho chips are bland while the ingredients splattered on top added little life to what was a dreary and sad food order. The price was affordable for the amount of calories that they serve you, but I’m not ordering our for survival, I wan’t to enjoy myself. Where’s your crown, King Taco?

One of my favorite take-out/delivery places in the Ridgewood area. The prices are extremely reasonable. Now as for the food itself… it’s kinda like measuring two types of food on a balancing scale. The side with the really good food more than outweighs the the side with the crappy food. This is exactly the case with faux Tex-Mex vs. Chinese take-out. Their version of Tex-Mex is delicious. Yet the way they put together their Chinese dishes, so not worth it. You’re better off walking a few blocks to the King Wah. I don’t understand why this place even bothers continuing with their Chinese menu. For the Tex-Mex, may I suggest the Special Combination Plates, complete with soda. It’s only $ 5.50. So ignore the Chinese menu and go straight for the fake Tex-Mex.

This place serves both Japanese and Tex-Mex take-out. The Japanese dishes are not that good. There are a number of places on Fresh Pond Road where you can find much better Japanese take-out. However, the Tex-Mex menu is delicious. The portions are large, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend getting something from the Special Combination Plates, which are around $ 6.00 and come with a can of soda. My girlfriend and I have gotten these on a number of occasions, and they are delicious. So, avoid the China Dish menu, and go for the Taco Grill one.
