Very professional crew at this Ridgewood Sterling Optical location!
(I previously used Sterling in Yonkers Cross County Mall; however, upon my return there recently, I unfortunately discovered that the helpful service manager Nick had bailed.)
As a result, I had to quickly find a substitute local Sterling, as my glasses sorely needed updating. :([I’m in Middle Village presently.] I found 1 positive Unilocal review for the Ridgewood Sterling location, and that was enough to sway me.
The service and expertise at Sterling Ridgewood are truly superb; and, I walked away with a wonderful new pair of glasses thanks to their able assistance.
I heartily recommend Sterling Optical Ridgewood 11 385 to all!!!

I used to go to the Rego Park location and after that closed — I guess for renovation? — my family and I started going here. At this location, they are very relaxed and laid back, they offer their opinions and actually help you make a decision. They aren’t tossing useless things at you and really get down to the nitty gritty of it. If you don’t need it they won’t hassle you and the appointments with the optometrists are great. I’ve gotten a different one each year for about 5 years and really they make you laugh and smile, want to carry a conversation, and overall want your experience there to be fun. Which it always is – I find it amusing to come and get my check-​up and select new glasses. Great customer service and great selection!
