This review is based on two recent experiences, the last one just an hour ago. I’m aware that among T-mobile stores the quality of service varies a lot, and that by just walking a couple of blocks you can be given the total opposite answers to the same problem. My situations were: 1. Last month I wanted to add a new line to my family plan. I tried initially over the phone and my request was denied due to my account being too young(they claimed some weird anti-fraud policy). To my surprise, I went to the store and it worked. Only problem: they put the wrong data plan on that line(which affected two billing cycles already). After a few calls it all seems to be resolved. 2. On another account, a SIM card was lost, while I had another card that was disabled two months ago, so it made sense to avoid paying $ 15+taxes for a new one. Some online forums(also hosted by T-mobile) claimed it was possible as long as it hasn’t been 90 days since deactivation. So to the store I went, just to be told(by more than one employee) that it was completely impossible, that I had to buy a new one. Not satisfied with their answer I tried the online chat and it worked. I can now use that account on the other SIM card. I admire T-mobile for their competitive family plans while offering(almost) global data, but they should give better training to people at the stores, or at least make sure they’re aware of their limitations(as it’s plausible that different channels enjoy different permissions, and maybe reactivating SIM cards is something stores can’t do).

I dont write very much on those reviews. few things you need to know when you go to this Tmobile location. Dont ever deal with Marc(white dude with annoying voice). He will try to sell you stuff you dont need, he wont tell you you might be better with this or other plan… he will tell you you NEED this plan because… and if not he will make you sign a waver that you didnt accept the better plan(what kind of bull is that?) He will try to make you feel stupid but please dont be intimidated by him. Just when you go to this Tmobile make sure you know which plan you want and what Tmobile offers, because you simply will be lied to. Plus the black girl dancing behind the counter makes this place look ghetto. I gave this place two stars because I ended up finishing my deal with Diony, probably one of few people in that location who have any genuity for the costumers.
