solid food, that reminded me of the good mom and pop places on Long Island. I’ve had better, but it definitely hits the spot when you’ve got a craving. The baked asparagus is A++ and the don’t use too much breading on their parmigiana which is cool. The red sauce is good, but leaves something to be desired. The tiramisu was delicious.

FINALLY!!! A place in Bishwick that had good food and delivers. I live in a delivery dead zone where only bad food is delivered. Thank god for this place. The inly reason I didnt give five stars is that it is a bit pricey but not too bad. I will ABSOLUTELY be a regular delivery customer and highly recommend trying if you suffer from the type of delivery situation I suffer from. Ryan

Spaghetti with sauce and Chicken Tenders on the side for my little one and Baked Ziti for me and my boyfriend, the ziti was ok nothing to write home about. Our server was very friendly and accommodating.

The rudest delivery man I’ve ever seen. The last time I ordered delivery from them(and it will remain the last time) the delivery man told me in plain terms not to bother ordering delivery from here again because he did not want to bring my food to 4th floor. We have an elevator, mind you, yet he still could not deal with such hardship. Isn’t that the point of delivery, having food brought to your doorstep? I will not and cannot support a restaurant that continues to employ such a rude«service» worker. I have called about the delivery man’s attitude before, yet it only became worse. It shows me that this place does not want or deserve my money.

This is my favorite place! My family and I have been coming for years since it opened! I always get the penne ala vodka with sautéed shrimp.(Although the menu doesn’t call for the shrimp they add it for me). They’re vodka sauce is the best I’ve had ever! I would totally reccomended this place. The foccachia bread(if spelled correctly) is the best! They serve it with rosemary and basil infused olive oil and it tastes wonderful! Overall I always have a great experience with this wonderful place :) Can’t wait to return!!!

So we’ve never actually sat down to eat here, but we have had pickup and delivery many times. My BF will argue they have the best pie on the block. I agree with him. Our second visit here was a bit rocky. We walked in and were told they didn’t open until 5:30pm. We came back around 6-ish and were told the brick oven wasn’t on yet. We wondered why it wasn’t turned on when they first saw us drooling at their entrance. We did have a delivery issue once. Order came, but credit card wasn’t charged and the delivery guy didn’t have a receipt for us to sign. Oh, and they forgot an item, but they promptly had it delivered. In all fairness, they had a huge party that day and were swamped. They did tell us that over the phone when we placed the order, so I’m not mad. Once my BF called in an order for delivery and was drunk and unable to find his credit card. Rather than hanging up and calling back after finding it, he kept them on the phone for at least 3 – 5 precious minutes, refusing to hang up. When I finally talked him into hanging up, he did, but never called them back. They had to call back and he didn’t believe them when they told him he never called back. Precious. I could hear them on the line being very patient and kind to him. All this to say, we’ve had a few kinks, but we’ve always worked it out. We keep ordering from them, because their food has truly been consistently good. Their sauces, their breads, their batters, their seasoning… everything has always been on point!

Might be 4 stars next time around but for now…3 will have to do. Place empty. Interesting at 8pm on a Saturday night. House red wine is a bit sweet but for $ 4 it’s dealable. The bread they serve is outstanding. We shared a personal margarita pizza. Good soft charred crust. Nice sauce and cheese. Pork chops are embarrassingly thin after being told by server that they are thick cut. Broccoli is delicious. Penne vodka sauce is good but macaroni Is too soft. Service is good and we will be back to try again.

I used to live in Ridgewood, I’m usaully in the neighborhood visiting family and I’m always looking for a good local restaurant; When i saw Trattoria Cerbone it reminded me of a Trattoria i went to in Italy. I love this place. The food & service was excellent. You feel like family when you eat here.

Finally ordered the brick-oven pizza here. The crust was sort of doughy and the sauce was bland; pretty disappointing. Stick with the pasta dishes, which are still very good.

Got delivery from here recently. I’d been wanting to try this since those jerks at Antica Trattoria lied about delivering to my area of Ridgewood despite being closer than another restaurant that delivered to us without changing their minds a week later. Needless to say, I was happy to see them get some competition. My review is exclusively for the food. The chicken parm was okay. It wasn’t the best chicken I had but the sauce & cheese were very good. I also got a vegetable side that my husband loved along with mashed potatoes; definitely a different spin than the usual pasta that comes with it. The person who took my delivery order was extremely polite & informative. He answered my questions about the dish I was ordering for my lactose intolerant husband as well as those about their desserts. The tiramisu was pretty good. Not as good as the one I had at Capizzi’s later on or at Mappomondo but far from horrible. I wish there was a little more on the menu my husband could eat but perhaps I’ll order something else there sometime. They seemed accommodating enough to me. As one reviewer said, we definitely need better restaurants around here since miles down Fresh Pond is NOT my neighborhood & I’m not going to hike down there when I can take the train into Manhattan and get better food.

I’ve made reservation here for an engagement dinner but before the date actually came my Fiancè and I decided to try it out to see if it was good pick. Here’s a list of the negative things. 1. Service slow 2. Not very polite 3. Never came to see how we were doing 4. I was done with water… No refills 5. Pasta alla carbonata tasted bad, dry, no sauce, bacon tastes spoiled or expired. 6. My dish Pollo Sorrentino… Mashed potatos tasted like they were made from one of those box mixes, the chicken tasted Like it wasn’t cook very well but the sauce and veggies were good. My fiancé is Sicilian born and raised and he know what good Italian food is suppose to tast like and that place is not it. This place only gets two stars from me because of the décor and garlic bread with the olive oil. Once we got our check I CANCELLED My reservations for the engagement dinner.

I’ve had a decent number of items on the menu, and I’m a big fan. I’ve only been there during lunch hour, so there is only 1 waiter,(who i think is the owner), so the service is never lacking. I’ve never had the brick oven pizza, which I heard is good. I highly recommend the shrimp scampi. Its like nothing i’ve had before. Its hard to believe that these are the same people who own Coratos 2 pizza(which is horrible).
