Yes sir re bob. Do yourself a favor. Have dinner or lunch at Bailey’s. The food is always great. Wednesday and Friday after 4 or 5 in the evening they have ribs and chicken with beans, slaw and tators. They have been in business for years and the proof is in the puddin. I have never had there desert, always filled up on the BBQ. Side note, Mrs. Bailey is some of the sweetest people.

Great home cooked bbq. Big servings at low price. Fast and friendly. Lots of locals. Most seniors had half orders(kids meal). Couldn’t finish mine. No room for pecsn pie. Maybe next time.

Great spot for BBQ. Slow cooked and excellent cuts of meat. Portion size was very good and the staff is very attentive. Sides just complement the rest of the meal. Will add this spot as a place to return to again and again. Thanks to the staff.

Overwhelmed by memories of the bbq places from my childhood, this is real deal, old school BBQ. It’s slightly over smoked(I’m guessing they use straight hickory, which has a tendency to do that), but the half chicken was very tender. My three ribs were small, but well cooked and delicious. The Brunswick stew was fabulous despite the presence of lima beans. The blue cheese dressing for the salad was homemade and perfect in flavor and viscosity. The bbq sauces were sweetened with molasses and was heavy with it. Not particularly my favorite on their own, they were both(hot and mild) great accompaniments to the meat. Full of old folks and locals, it’s a perfect example of what bbq can be when done right. Outstanding and we’ll worth the exit from the interstate

Best bbq we’ve found in the area! The location is unassuming but just a few minutes off I-75 and an easy drive from Chattanooga. Down home ambiance and attentive & friendly service. The bbq pork & beef are really, really good — flavorful, tender, delicious on their own before adding any sauce. The baked beans are the best I’ve ever had, with a great smokey flavor & hearty chunks of meat to add to the flavor. The portions are generous, and my wife and I now order the kids plates — still plenty of food for a grown up & the waitress said lot of adults get them. If you’re in the Chattanooga area or passing through, this is a fantastic bbq destination.

We came here through Unilocal.I would say everything was really good except for mayonnaise based cole slaw. Vinegar slaw on sandwich was good. we had the barbecue sandwiches which had a really good smokey flavor. french fries were hand cut and well seasoned. I thought the beans were unusually good, and ribs had good smokey flavor and texture. Good place to go!

I really enjoyed the BBQ beef and the flavorful pork and beans. I’m not a beans fan but theirs was really good. Cole slaw is a little bland, but I came for BBQ. The place is country style décor inside a metal shack, but the reviews were spot on with good food. We actually had really attentive service, too.

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and looking for a good local dining spot for dinner when my future son-in-law mentioned Bailey’s. The reviews looked great so we headed over. It sure did smell good! Too bad we were unable to stay and eat. Even though there was a good crowd there was still plenty of seating available, so it wasn’t like we couldn’t have stayed, but we had six people and weren’t allowed to put two tables together to accommodate us so we left. Guess they’d rather have empty tables than a small inconvenience.

Locally owned and operated, this is the best BBQ around. Ribs are available on Wednesdays and Fridays. All plates have more food than you can eat, but for the price and quality you can’t complain.

Found this place using Unilocal.just a few miles off of I-75, but worth the drive. Reasonably prices and by the looks of the place it’s frequented by the regulars. For less than $ 20.00 we got two home cooked meals that filed us up. Solid home-cooking.

Definitely worth the 2-mile trek from 75. Went with my mom on the drive from Florida to Ohio. We both had the BBQ pork plate, which was huge. Definitely should have gotten the child’s plate for late lunch. We each had, pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, and potato salad. We also tried the Brunswick stew, which is like a vegetable stew, but with BBQ meats(pork and chicken and beef). It was incredibly flavorful and full of veggies.(Corn, peas, Limas, okra, tomato) The pulled pork was very tasty — smoky and the sauce came in mild and hot. The potato salad is mustard-y and very good(homemade, of course). The cole slaw was mayo based, but not sweet and drippy, definitely also homemade. The baked beans were the best I’ve ever had in my life. They were smoky and sweet and savory — I could eat them every day! You also get 2 rolls; just yeasty rolls with the plate. Definitely worth the off-highway trek! Don’t stop at fast food, this place is delicious! P. s. — mon-fri they have $ 6.50 and $ 7 lunch plates. Even in Saturday, our huge plates were $ 9.99. The Brunswick stew is $ 2.79 a cup. The place is rustic, but waitresses are friendly! They are open 6:30am-8p sun-thurs and 6:30a-9p Friday and Saturday. Dooooooooo eeeeeeeet!

My favorite BBQ place anywhere. The pork is superb. On certain nights they serve ribs, which are well worth the trip. Baileys is the best for BBQ in the Chattanooga/Northwest Georgia area.

BBQ pork sandwiches and tater tots were delicious! No lie I would say it was the very best BBQ I have EVER had. The location is a little off the beaten path from the expressway but well worth it. The prices were also very reasonable and the waitstaff is very friendly. Next time I’m anywhere close to this place I’m making it a point to stop back in!

This was the BBQ I wanted! A real place… And I had my first taste of Brunswick stew. Yummy! This is the rare BBQ place where you don’t need to sauce the meat… it’s just perfect as it come out of the kitchen. Wowza! (Gee… I never finished writing this when we were on vacation! Sorry ’bout that! We ate here in June of 2012 on our way down to Florida.)
