So we decided to try the all new Toro Burger Bar. The quality of the ingredients were great. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. The fries were fresh and cooked to perfection. I ordered the gaucho burger with a fried egg. Delicious. My only request and the reason why I did not give it 5 stars was the bun. The bun seemed to be a store bought bun. I mentioned to the waitress that they start making the buns fresh or at least have a better bun. It wasn’t terrible but if they had fresh made buns I would’ve given this place 5 stars. You can’t go wrong by eating here. Great burgers and terrific staff. We will revisit this place again soon.

I stay at the Howard Johnson in Rio Rancho frequently for work, and I’ve been waiting for this bar and grill to open for a while now. Well, good things come to those who wait — and the food at the Toro B&G is no exception! They’ve got a nice selection of appetizers and sandwiches, including homemade green chili cheese fries that are the best I’ve ever had. But their real signature is their burger menu — all handmade, fresh and never frozen, with a dozen gourmet options or more. Try a burger with roasted pineapple jam and bacon, or sautéed mushrooms with garlic and onions and red pepper aioli. They’ve also got a solid drink menu with sodas, juice, beer, and mixed drinks. Give this place a try — you’ll be surprised and delighted.
