The food you expect from sonic was fast getting the food out easy to get to from 99 it is right next to loves truck stop so watch out for the trucks

35 minutes wait for a burger made wrong twice.
Getting ready to leave tired of looking at the only other car in the stall and the drive thru standing still.
When my order arrives. Cold tater tots and a burger with cheese. I asked for a #1 no cheese and a cherry lime aid. And added a tater tot small.
Tried to catch her before she charged my card. I don’t have time to wait 27 more minutes. To eat. I could have cooked and finished the dishes in this amount of time.
She says we can have it ready right away. REALLY? 27 min for a burger and now you can get it right away? OK.
Burger is delivered in lightening speed. WRONG AGAIN
She comes up to my car says I have you a large bag of tater tots. They are hot. And here is your burger. No cheese. Or onions. I reply no onions? Her face sunk. I ask for a manager. I’m at 35 min. No dinner. And out 8 dollars. She says as proud as can be. I am the shift leader. No store manager or shift manager is at this site. I ask what went wrong. I am now in the stalls with 2 cars and 1 patio order. And the same exact cars still sitting in the drive through. She says they are busy. We both look around at an empty parking lot.
I tell her I do this same order every Friday with out any problems with 10+ stalls filled. Patio full and drive thru wrapped around the building and I am able to get a correct order. Hot with in 10 minutes. She walks away leaving me with an incorrect burger but the large tater tots were supposed to make up for? I’m not trying to get free food or an increase in anything. I just want what I paid for with. 8 dollars worth of incorrect.
Called the customer service line. She sounded drained. And frankly told me to call the manager my self. Her report would take to long to file. 24 hrs wulith a follow up. I apologize for bothering her. And told her the best report is a financial report without my donation every Friday. WILL NOT GO BACK

All I can say is «Wow»…and not in a good way.
I’ve been to this location 3 or 4 times and have no clue why I thought to stop in again. Service was total garbage, the girl couldn’t hear anything I was saying in the drive-​up, and then my order was wrong (I’m assuming due to the terrible drive up speaker) but then she sat and argued with me for 5 minutes about how she didn’t get it wrong and I must have ordered incorrectly hahaha… thumbs down. Keep going until you get to Modesto if you HAVE to have sonic.

Been through this Sonic 3 – 4 times now and damn, I cannot believe I went back after the 1^st time. Service is incredibly slow and oddly passive-​aggressive. My parents have been through here and had eerily similar experiences except for one of theirs ended up in an argument as to who ordered what with an employee!
Their location is prime. Truck stops are generally great places to get food as the businesses are used to volume and due to the competition, offer pretty solid product. Sadly, not this Sonic. They are pathetically inefficient at handling orders. I do not blame staff (although I’m sure they are not helping), this is a piss-​poor management problem.
I will be reporting this location to Sonic’s Corporate Office and if you like Sonic, you should too. This location, in my opinion, is not a Sonic. It is just a crappy drive-​thru wearing Sonic’s colors.

We were hungry and stopped at this Sonic. I had the cheeseburger, fries & Coke. Deanna had the Mozzerella cheese sticks and strawberry cheese cake milkshake. Deanna enjoyed her cheese sticks and couldn’t finish her milkshake. I enjoyed my cheese burger, but did not enjoy the fries, they did not have enough salt on them. When I got home, the dogs — Hi-​Pee and Hannah wanted a walk — Deanna and I walked them around Moonlight Way and Deepdale. Hi-​Pee and Hannah got to eat the rest of my fries, that I did not enjoy.

You guys need to update your stupid speaker it’s so 1980’s and you guys are so slow and thank you for making me late to worked !!!

Wow, I’ve never seen a Sonic in worse shape than this one… As many reviewers have said, the maintenance on this place is non-​existent. I can’t believe it hasn’t fallen in on itself yet
Service was okay, but I couldn’t hear the order-​taker through their crappy speakers…
Food was decent at least

Very disappointed. I am Deaf and needed for someone to come out and take my order. The sign says to honk or wave to get assistance. I pressed the button several times and had my young son tell them to come take my order. They said they would. Nothing for 15 minutes. I pressed again and they said the same thing. Pressed again after waiting and they said no we can’t come out you have to order on the speaker so my young son tried to order. They confirmed the order. Waited and waited. Pressed button and nothing. We should have just left after the first ten minutes. It’s been 50 minutes. Finally someone comes and says they didn’t get our order. Not happy about it at all. People were going through the drive in much faster and left with their food. Not us.

This location is in sad shape! Only one walk up order box, and the card reader is out of order and the order taker sounds like he is calling in long distance from eastern Europe. Equipment maintenance does not seem to be a high priority for this particular franchise owner, nor is cleanliness of the patio. Employees seemed pleasant, but the person in charge may have been the inspiration for the bus driver on South Park.

I hate to give Sonic a 1 star but this was my worst Sonic experience. Service was fine and the employee we dealt with was nice but the food was horrible. I got the Ciabatta Breakfast sandwich. The bread was stale, the egg was gross, and the bacon was burned. They obviously don’t care about the quality of food. Wish I had read the other reviews before throwing away my money here

This is fast food??? Sadly no.
The service was incredibly slow. And the food? I should’ve order cold food off the menu because that’s how the burger arrived… cold. The tator tots were good, but that’s not enough of a reason to stop here again. It’s a shame because the sonic close to our house recently (hopefully) temporarily closed… and we’ve been missing it.

Fast food? What a joke. Been sitting in the drive thru for 10 minutes now and they just said sorry for the wait because there swamped. 1 car behind me and 3 in the parking lot. Learn how to run a business. If your going to call this fast food then be reasonable with your service.

Sonic is either the greatest idea or the worst. It amplifies the successes or the problems with the drive-​thru.
I struggle with the drive-​thru speaker, and so, I struggle with the Sonic method of ordering. However, I like the food, so it’s worth a bit of trouble.
This time was more difficult than usual, but the order was received and delivered correctly. The price was reasonable and the food didn’t take too long.

Stopped on the way back home to grab an ice tea. First we tried two different stalls and they didn’t work, no service. There wasn’t a sign up either indicating it was out of service. So anyway we decided on drive thru. We like lots of ice, we said it a few times please extra ice :-)
Guess what? It barely had any ice booooo! But I have to give props to the landscape designer. Beautiful ! Lots of shade !!

One time I saw an employee pull her apron out from on top of the outside trash! I mean, really?! She could have placed it on the tables near by! So gross.
Food is a hit and miss. Not sure when I’ll be back.

Service can be REALLY hit and miss at this particular Sonics, which sucks since it is directly off the freeway and a major trucking and rest stop for people off the 99.
For the times that my family and I have stopped at sonics it has been early morning, lunch, dinner and even late night snacks in the summer time. We really have had either a great experience or just blah. Blah being that sometimes even when there are NO other cars it can take FOREVER!
But it’s Sonics and we love Sonics, so eh why not lol.

Service was really helpful on a Saturday evening. Maybe I was cold but the double cheeseburger was pretty good. Chili cheese tots worked as well.

Sonics milkshakes are half off right now, and totally worth it! 1large shake and 1 small shakes is $ 4! They have a ton of flavors too. I get Oreo which isn’t on the menu. We sit in the car and maybe wait 3 minutes max. Best summer night place to go. You have to go after 8 for half off milkshakes.

Lame… Aren’t they supposed to deliver my order on skates?

My wife and I went there 9−6−12 at 8:20 pm
Placed our order at the park and wait. And we waited and waited and waited and waited. When we finally got out order tweny six minutes later, mine was completely wrong, and she forgot my fries she said ill be right back with those. Ten minutes go by no fries. I walked inside to correct it and she said «oh I forgot your fries» so I had to wait another five minutes. I waited inside, once I got my fries I waited in the car for my burger you guessed it another seven minutes. Needless to say I’ll never eat there again. Two other couples who ordered after us got their money back.
Save yourself a little aggravation don’t even go there. There are plenty of other fast food restaurants on the same street
