So last weekend, grandson Josh and I went back and did the build a case part of the Wine Group’s periodic wine sale. We did 2 hours on line waiting to get in, My fault for not leaving earlier. The wait was worth it to say the least. Once inside one gets a cart and however many cases he expects to buy then starts picking through bin after bin of single layered bottles, all standing upright for easy picking. From USD12 to 48 per case we went middle of the road and did four cases at 24USD. Pinot Grigios, Noirs Cabs, chards, sparkling roses, rieslings anything you could want. Our four cases came to 96USD. After I got home and punched up the different labels on the net, I estimate we brought home nearly 600USD worth. The Wine Group is one of the largest congomerate vintners in the world with many different labels in their house. Wine you don’t feel guilty about drinking, wine snobs, Napa valley is 2 hours northwest. A lot of people bought a lot of wine, and saved a huge amount of money.
