Applebee’s

Came here to grab some dinner. Our server was Cora she was awesome. She made us feel welcome and was attentive. I don’t understand why they have so many bad reviews. I’ve gone several times to this location and have never had a problem. The food is always great and so is the service.

Literally the best applebees I have ever been to. Don’t listen to the horrible reviews. Ian and Anthony are badasses. I could eat my weight in 3 cheese chicken cavatappi.

Our server Ian was the best! One of the managers even brought out our appetizers so he could check on us which was a nice plus. The food was delicious and exactly how we ordered it, which we like to modify our food a lot so it was impressive that everything was correct. The general manager even went so far as to bring me extra sour cream! We love this place and can’t wait to come back! All perfect scores.

THERE WAS A BUG IN MY FOOD.
Last night I went to this place with my friends and girlfriend. The service there is never good but the food has always been cheap and decent… Until last night. I ordered my typical four cheese mac and cheese and only ate about half of it and boxed the other half up. Today I reheated my food and was happily eating it until I looked down and saw a strange shape baked into my food… A large flying insect was baked right into my meal!!!
I am not sure what kind of insect it was but it looks like it may have been a bee. If it was a bee and I ate it, there is a good chance I would have had to go to the hospital due to the fact that I am severely allergic to bees. Even if it was not a bee, it is still unsanitary to the extreme.
They are sending me gift cards but I will not be subjecting myself to the unhygienic, bug-​infested facility that is Apple Bee’s ever again. The gift cards will be going into the trash!!!
Everyone in my group has decided next time we go out to eat we will pay the extra $ 5 to go to a more upscale restaurant where at the very least they do not feed you bugs as if you were Bear Grylls… At least he gets paid to eat bugs.
If you value your appetite and health AVOID at all costs!!!

Jordyn was our waitress. It felt like she was avoiding us the whole time. Took 15 mins to bring a salad and never asked if we needed anything like condiments which we did. She never refilled our drinks. Didn’t check on us once. Brought us out one dirty spoon for a desert we were sharing. Had a additude and was very short with us. We eat here all the time and never had an experience like this one.

I would have given more stars but they changed their menu and did away with my favorite shrimp dish. I always looked forward to it. Won’t be coming back as often.

Epic fail for APPLEBEE’s curbside pickup… No salsa or lime with fiesta lime chicken… Food is tough & dry… Rice is old. Caesar salad with no extra parm or garlic per our request. Boo!!!

It’s a great place to hang out on a Fri or Sat night and the food is always good here! You already know! Doooooooooo it!

I usually like to go to this location. Shoot I’ve gone quite a few times without disappointed service of food. Last night was just a shame. we had a fairly larger party then usual. 6 adults and two children. We had our food brought to us in waves. (different times different waitress) my son got the chicken basket and didn’t eat much because he was grossed out at how much gristle there was. My three cheese chicken pasta was bland with no flavor and had three small prices of burnt chicken on top. I asked the waitress if this could be right. she said it only comes with ½ a chicken breast. I said this is clearly not even half. Clearly they are only good for appetizers and drinks. Not to bring the family in for dinner. What a waist of money.

We had dinner at Applebee’s last evening, and it was a disaster for me. I must say that I nearly always enjoy eating at Applebee’s. But this meal was so bad that I feel I must comment. I ordered one of the most expensive dinners, steak covered with shrimp in a cheese sauce and vegetables. Also, it is one of Applebee’s «signature» meals, and the menu includes the comment that this dish will keep customers coming back. I don’t think so. The steak was so tough that I literally could not cut it even with the serrated knife provided. It was gristle and fat, with little edible meat. I didn’t send it back, but I probably should have. I ended up taking it home to my dogs, who managed to chew it up – they are very strong chewers. There was an abundance of small carrots in the vegetables, carrots that may have been steamed for 30 seconds. They were as crunchy as raw carrots. Usually, the waitresses at Applebee’s are rather intrusive, asking too often how we are doing. Last night, the waitress never bothered us, NEVER asked how everything was. (Did she know about Applebee’s steaks?) At least, she didn’t intrude. Finally, when she inquired about dessert, I told her that my steak was very tough and that I wanted to take it home to my dogs. (I didn’t say this in an angry way – just mentioned my sincere intent.) She never apologized but eventually brought me a take-​home box. If I go back to Applebee’s, I will NEVER again order steak – or steamed vegetables.

Food was very good. Music was way too loud during happy hour. Asked to turn it down and was denied due to corporate reasons. Megan our server had a very stale attitude and could not hear what we were telling her because, again, the music was way too loud for decent communication. Ive had good service in the past at this location, but seemed like the service at this shift lacked the motivation to make customers feel welcome. Overall the food was great.

The food was awesome but took a while. Service not so much. The waitress (Carolina) was super rude. She spent most of her time talking to a coworker close to the bar area and I waited 10 minutes for a water. When I addressed the issue she rolled her eyes at me. Never coming back again!

The service was not good at all. We waited at our table for over 10 minutes before anyone ever noticed us. Oncoming our server came he rushed us and barely took the time to answer our questions. Then when the food came it was very poor. The quality was not good and it looked like it was just thrown together in 5 seconds. My boyfriends burger was completely black on one side and almost raw on the other side. Last time we ever go there! –out

I only will go to this and the Manteca locations.
The food is tasty, consistent, fresh and reasonable.
The service was very good for a Sunday about 1pm.
I wish they would clean things like menus and other stationary items that are reused by the public. It is unhygienic, lazy, and irresponsible not to do so. (I have been known to send a dirty menu back only for the new one to be just as soiled). Now it seems they use keypads at your table and they are just as dirty and are not wiped down after each customer.

went there with family, wife nearly broke a tooth on 2 small hard as rock pieces of diced chicken in a wanton taco app, grandson has chicken strips that were overcooked and hard so had to send back for more, they looked like the oil used was old as hell, I had a steak but after they bring a potato-​less steak they tell me they are out of baked potatoes, (couldn’t have told me sooner?) the waitress was real nice and courteous and was great with service.
We have eaten here before and the food was good so don’t know what happened this time.
Will I go back again? nah gonna stick with red robins.

Wish one star was an option! Went in a Saturday night and of course the plan was to drink and eat, my husband (who is 30) forgot his id. He tried to show a couple other forms that were not accepted, perfectly understandable. Being a business owner myself I definitely understand the importance of needing an id. But after we were stocked by the manager (stephanie) that is going to retire as a Applebee’s manager she made our whole meal extremely uncomfortable to enjoy and our experience one we will never attempt again. We won a $ 10 gift certificate playing bingo and unfortunately that will be their tip. The servers were nice, unfortunately their manager screwed it up for them (I am always a generous tipper because I work in the field of tips) horrible service!

Garbage ! I won a gift card for Applebee’s, why did it have to be Applebee’s. I knew after reading recent reviews Applebee’s is just as shitty as I remember. So i went last night my meal was horrible my man’s meal was horrible and honestly I just wish I gave the gift card away. We ordered the 2 for 20. The ribblets were full of small bones. There was absolutely no meat. The fries were salty as hell. My chicken tenders were extremely dry. Mozzarella sticks were cold. Will never go back here again.

Arrive at 442pm. (I did check the time). Two parties arrived after us. First party arrived approximately 448 pm and Second party arrived 455pm (checked the time). The first party got their drinks and appetizers before the second party arrived. So when the second party got their drinks and we still hadn’t got approached for our drinks I decide the we would leave. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN! What a disappointment, they are disgracing the name of the Applebee’s Franchise. We walked out and I simply told the hostess «Have a good evening». If I could give half a star I would. Hostess guy was fast and proper.
NOW I came to Round Table right across from this Applebee’s and I give this Round Table 5Stars. Come here, it’s way better. Fast friendly fast and great food.

My experience today. Took the wife and kids for dinner after trick or treating. Was sat at a table quickly, drink order was taken and food was ordered. Off to a good start. My wife orders oriental chicken salad when it came out she asked the server for Xtra dressing. The server looked at her and with an attitude of inconvenience told her ok. My wife and I looked at each other and laughed and said I guess that was an unusual request for her. Well the waitress brought my wife dressing… as my wife was pouring it on the salad she realized she had just poured ranch on her Oriental salad… luckily a different waitress saw what happened and offered to get my wife a new salad… great. 15 minutes later and after the rest of the Family was practically done eating, my wife got her new salad with the correct dressing.
My Son ordered a rib let basket and ate a few bites off each one and spit most of it out because he said they were fatty… he can tear some good ribs up! He left hungry… I screwed up and ordered riblets and decided to try a new sauce fore me, I think it was spicy Asian or something. I didn’t like it! Left 3 slabs on the plate… left disappointed.
So, we get our bill. The waitress says you pay me cash, any other forms of payment use the little tablet that’s on your table. Ok, for starters, when I go into a restaurant and I see those damn tablets I want to throw them trough the window! Not only do I have to watch my kids like a hawk so they won’t touch them, every time I have to use one, my order is messed up and I have to wait for a Manager to fix it! Pain in the Ass! This time was no different. They charged me for a damn game… $ 1.99…quite the scam! I bet 90% of the people don’t even check their tab that close… this happens to me almost every time I go to a restaurant that has these tablets. So I press the little button to request my server to come to my table for assistance. Few minutes later she shows up… I explained that I was charged for a game we didn’t play. She responded by telling me, it only charges you, if you play a game. Again, I told her we didn’t play any games and I wanted it taken off my bill. She told me if I wanted it off my bill a Manager would have to remove it. I said get me the Manager then… she said ok. By this time my kids are tired and ready to go home. I send my Wife and kids out to the car while I wait for a Manager. After about 5 minutes of waiting for the Manager I’m getting frustrated. I start thinking, if she doesn’t get here soon I’m gonna pay the bill, count my loss and take the $ 1.99 off the tip. I consider myself a decent tipper… good food and good service 20% or better… at this point I didn’t get either… after waiting 15 – 20 minutes for a Manager that never showed. I paid the bill and left no tip…
I’ve been a Applebee’s customer since they came to Northern California. Used to go weekly but they have made a lot of changes. Portions are down, prices are up, food quality is down… frankly there are several better restaurants out there with better food, service and prices… Applebee’s has lost any WOW factors in product and service! I’m done with them!

Always loved Applebee’s but its unfortunate to say this one in particular didn’t live up to the standards. As soon as we got our orders the waitress spilled some of my drink, instead of apologizing and cleaning it up she sped off to the next table leaving me to sacrifice my one napkin to clean it. When i asked for another napkin it looked like she didn’t hear me so i repeated it and she gave me attitude it was then i decided to open up Unilocal and write something about this.
The waitress must’ve saw i had it open and her attitude completely changed even the manger started to check up on us.
Apart from the lack of good customer service the food looked great. Unfortunately the 4 cheese mac and cheese i had ordered tasted mediocre. The only thing that made me give this place a second star was the taste of the kiwi lemonade.
So overall this place has at least from what i saw some waitress with attitude problems
