Unique pizza that tastes good. Is more pricey than your run of the mill Pizza Hut etc.

I’ve been coming here since 1991 it’s still as good as ever !!! the Turkey Sandwich I haven’t had since 1994 was still amazing I had it today. if you crave a pizza Ross and Pizza Plus crew will make you a killer pie !!
I recommend the Pepperoni because it’s worthy of Jesus when he comes back its that f$%&@#x good

I ordered the Italian. It came with a generous amount of toppings and perfectly cooked crust! They were able to address my food allergy as well. I’ll be back!

The pizza is always the best when I go here. I also love their cheesy bread. The crust on their pizza is by far my favorite anywhere. It’s a little more pricier but the quality and taste won’t even make you think twice before handing your money over!

Best local pizza, great service, friendly atmosphere. The variety is amazing and the toppings are always overflowing. This pizza is always fresh and you can watch as they make it. Always amazing food and service. Pizza Plus is very proud of their community and town, it’s great to see pictures of the high school kids and community teams.

I’m a food snob from San Francisco & I love their Pizza! Best pizza for me in years! We ordered THE EVERYTHING and I ate 2.5 slices! I usually stop at one. I ATE all the crust with each slice! It was that good! Crust had flavor, was crispy, and just so delicious! Not sure what’s in their dough… magic, stardust? It not a thin crust. It’s not thick either. It’s the Goldilocks crust… Just right…
And the toppings… So much of it! Veggies all super fresh, meats too! Perfect mix and quantities of toppings, cheese, and sauce!
Who would have thunk with an 80’s-90’s name (Pizza Plus) that the pizza be soooooo darn good! When I think of pizza now days I wish Pizza Plus was in SF ;). It would give Golden Boy and maybe even Tony’s a run for their money!
Attentive helpful FRIENDLY service for a casual joint. Great for kids before a movie. Great for Dinner, Lunch! Not sure about the day after, since we ate it all there and had none left to take home. :). Easy street parking right in front. Part of a small quaint shopping center felt totally safe. Support this small business if you can! Well worth the trip!

I refuse to eat any other pizza than Pizza Plus, their crust is unique and crunchy my favorite part, always so yummy when I come here, I grew up in riverbank so I love to support this place. Must have pizza! :)

The food is great, but I had horrible service one visit. I waited almost an hour for a mini cheese pizza and a sandwich. My boyfriend went to go double check on our order and they forgot about us! I could see that it was busy and they were attending a big party, but that does not mean you should ignore other customers. I’m really disappointed in how the girl who was out of uniform handles the situation. I’m assuming she’s the owner’s daughter? She sat there the whole time on her phone and all she could do is say sorry we got busy. No, you forgot about our order. I know they forgot about it because the customers who ordered after us, received their food and left before we even received ours.

I am not a huge pizza lover. It is not something I really crave and much of it tastes the same, but there is something about this place that I enjoy more then most. The one thing they do really well is put a lot of toppings on the pizza and still keep the crust from getting soggy. Not sure how it happens, but many places are not able to accomplish this seemingly small task. I like supporting smaller business, and while this is still a chain, it has more of a Mom and Pop type vibe. Give it a shot if you are in the area,

Best pizza in the area hands down. A small family owned business fighting the big pizza giants. They only use fresh ingredients and serve their pizza fresh. The crust is the best I have tasted so far.
A little bit pricey than your regular pizza but every bite is worth the extra money.

. .I was told how great there pizza was. After I tried Patterson location I was not impressed.. So on our way back from Oakdale we decided to go for pizza at pizza plus in riverbank. I was not excited. We ordered santa fe special with bread sticks. My god it was one of the best I have ever had. I loved it. We all did. Toppings were fresh, crust was perfect, bread sticks were to die for. I will be back soon.

We had friends from out of town and they were craving pizza, but weren’t interested in the big chains… One friend hopped on Unilocal to find an independent shop nearby and was immediately drawn to Pizza Plus. We were all happy with the result! Delicious pizza on a perfect crust. Breadsticks were also yummy.
She did, however, request extra sauce on the pizza, and we ended up not getting that, it was still great. If you have any modification on the order, just make sure they got the order the way you intended. Easy mistake, and didn’t ruin the meal for any of us, so I won’t dock them!

Everyone from a small town in the central valley argues about which Pizza Plus is best. In addition to this one, I’ve tried Escalon, Ripon, Newman, and Hilmar, and I maintain my allegiance to Riverbank. This place is our usual weekend meal with the family. Their pizza is consistently delicious. They are always generous with cheese and toppings. We always add an order of breadsticks with cheese and pizza sauce.
It’s pretty pricey, like any other mom and pop pizza joint, but very much worth the money. Plus they usually have specials going on.

I wasn’t really sure about this location. In contrast to the location at Escalon, this one looks more like a bar from the street, probably because there is a bar across the street.
Like the other location, prices are a little high – you pay extra dough for all of the extra dough. It’s definitely not thin crust but they bake it fully.
It took a while for someone to take our order at the counter. There were roughly 8 tables in use, and if they had some carry out work, the three people there should have been more than enough. He was friendly about it, though.
We ordered an 8 inch Super Plus and a 10 inch Pepperoni and 2 fountain drinks cost just more than $ 25, which seems too much. We’ll try the 12 inch half and half, but it seemed that it was going to be more like $ 30, so we didn’t want to gamble on it.
The shredded ham is interesting as an ingredient on the Super Plus. In fact, all of the ingredients are quite good, and if I put this pizza chain against Round Table, it would win easily. The difference between Pizza Plus and Mountain Mike’s is less pronounced but it ends up in Pizza Plus’ favor.
When the pizzas were ready, they were brought to the table. I’m still not sure why they asked for a name. It seemed as though they were going to have us get them. It felt less customer-​oriented than the Escalon store but it worked out about the same.
Everything worked out and it was close to the skate park, which was a plus, as it seems I’m always looking for something on the other side of the overpass. If a second visit is as good, I’m sure it will be a regular stop.
I noticed that this store is closed on Tuesday, but the Escalon store is closed on Sunday. Consistency doesn’t matter?

Yesterday we went to the Wine and Cheese festival in Riverbank and right smack dad in the middle of the festival is Pizza Plus. We decided to go into Pizza Plus because there were signs offering beer cheaper than at the festival plus we were ready to sit down it was hot outside.
The place is medium size offering tables and booths inside and an outside dining area as well, unfortunately it was so packed because of the festival but we were just happy to get seats inside.
The customer service was stellar. After we ordered our food and got our pitcher of beer one of the owners checked to see how we were doing which is always much appreciated. The staff all wears tie dye shirts and were all pretty chipper considering how busy they were.
The pizza came out and I was impressed with the crust and the cheesiness was just perfect.
Overall, I had a good experience at Pizza Plus and will be returning if I am ever in the area.

Can’t say enough about how much I love this place! Large pizza, and REAL BREADSTICKS with ooey gooey cheese on top is PERFECTION and all for $ 30 bucks! Reminds me so much of pizza from back east whenever I went to see family in the summer.
Fresh ingredients, delicious dough and crust, you really can’t go wrong with any of the choices of pizza they have. Only thing I ever get ‘meh’ about is how they cut up the ham. Would prefer it to be whole pieces but you can always ask for that. I just prefer whole while my family enjoys it that way :-)

One of the things I love so much about my job is working with homeowners each day and asking them the best spots to eat around town then confirming it through Unilocal.I just ordered a giant pizza half everything have vegetarian white sauce on the vegetarian side. And I’m telling you if you like fresh ingredients with large pieces that you can tell what it is and a crust that second to none you should stop by here if youre ever near Riverbank!
