Target

I love Target and this store is what you expect from a Target. I didn’t ask for assistance or interact with any employees other than my cashier and that was fine. There is a Starbucks inside, but it was closed when I was there around 10pm (ish). I was able to find what I needed and the store was clean. I did not buy groceries, but walked by and it was typical for Target.

They have a very hard time collecting their own shopping carts that have been collecting out there for a very very long time. How can they not notice large number of carts missing? Large number of shopping carts have been collecting for months now behind/​east side of the building & throughout the giant parking lots.

Great store! Fast service, clean, well-​stocked most of the time. Much better than other locations I’ve been to.

Just like any other target but has more cashiers to help you check out more quickly. nice grocery store and great prices on their groceries. Your clothes are ok, your shoes are ok, but the people are great help with anything I’m here.

The only reason I’m doing a 3 star is their on line service sucks! I live about 35 miles from Riverbank and prefer to or
der on line (If you can get on). Tried to order some things for Christmas for my husband and after sitting on hold 20 minutes because their web page wouldn’t let me in I actualley reached a person. I told him about my situation and he began telling me things to try I already tried over and over. I told him hold on and let me get my husband I don’t understand. When my husband came to the phone we were put on hold again… Now I need to drive down to the store (35 miles) to order my Christmas presents. No wonder their computer systems were hacked!!!

This is the main target I go to, as always they are much nicer then Walmart, especially the one on Mchenry. Last time I was here there was a new guy in the video games section who really knew his stuff. He was like a GameStop employee except not as creepy. While I was there he helped multiple people find holiday gifts and he was able to describe many of the games in great detail. He was also really personal and friendly.

I like the cart wheel to save time money. I like to shop for food and clothes, home. The red card helps too.

I love shopping here because not only is it close to my home, but it’s located in a convenient plaza to shop in.

I don’t usually review Target, because they are typically the same across the board but THIS target deserves major kudos. It’s always clean. Easy to find MORE than you ever wanted to come out with. But I have to give HUGE kudos to manager Alyssa.
So friggin frustrating dealing with my bank, I have had 2 new debit cards issued within less than a year and we tried to make a sizable purchase at Target tonight and my car was run 5 times, removing almost $ 2000 from our banking account and their system wouldn’t authorize the transaction.
Knowing we had plenty of funds to cover our purchase I called the bank, she in the meantime called their system to verify all the charges were voided, which they were. She even offered to call my bank for me to verify the purchase. I declined as a fraud protection notification showed up on my phone so I called the frauds department to fix the situation. My frustration with the idiots at my bank made me feel like I should remove myself from the equation and I let my husband pay once the fraud alert was cleared and I finished ripping our bank a new one.
I didn’t get the opportunity to thank her for her professionalism, patience and for going way over and beyond. She truly is an amazing leader. I hope the powers that be at that store see this review because she’s worth her weight in gold.

Now don’t get me wrong. Who doesn’t LOVE target?! But I always dreaddddddd the checkout process at this particular location. There is NEVER enough checkers (understandable) but then the ones they have are sooooo slow. I’m not even being dramatic. I work retail. Scan and bag. It’s frustrating to wait in line for 20 min to get rung up for a few things because the express lane isn’t open.

I purchased a bike for my son and when I got it home it was defective. I dreaded taking it back the same day but my son was devastated.
When I got to Target they were very helpful at customer service. They called the back of the store and told me they would page me when the replacement bike was brought to the front. They even gave me $ 5 off bc I waited for 10 minutes. Very cool

I like this target it’s clean and organized. .We are shopping for a trip to our property in Tahoe, need clothes for kids and travel snacks and road game’s..

Got a blender as a gift and saw that it might of came from this store. I needed to replace it because when we opened the box there was no lid to the blender. My husband thought that they would not accept it back.
Today my daughter and I made our way to this Target and the woman who helped me in the returns asked if we just wanted one with a lid or just to return it. I told her we wanted one with a lid. So she told me to hold on to mine without a lid and go find one that was complete. So we made our way to the Kitchen area. Took us awhile. very busy on a Sat. afternoon. Found one didn’t think to look if it was the same size. Because when we took it back over to the lady to show her we found one. She said it was a little bit smaller than the one we had. She asked if that was ok, I said yea, no problem and she exchanged it for us and gave us credit of $ 1.00 because the smaller one was a $ 1 cheaper. Nice! Smooth transaction!

Really enjoy coming to this Target. Most of the time its organized and best of all its clean!

Oh, I can’t go more than a few days without Target.
I planned to stop here for a soda since I didn’t really see a convenience store I trusted. It’s a perfect location between Modesto and Riverbank, across from Salida.
The soda machine was in the Starbucks area. It looked as though no one had cleaned it for hours. Still, I was concerned about what was coming out of the machine, not so much what was on the counter.
The rest of the store seemed okay, but less great than I had hoped. I’m becoming accustomed to a lesser Target these days. However, I shop it for groceries mostly, and they have good Market Pantry and (often great) Archer Farms brand products.
The employees were friendly and the store wasn’t a mess – other than the snack bar soda machine.

Of the Targets in the Modesto area, this is by far my favorite. Staff hospitality, cleanliness, and organization seem to be top priorities here. It also has a Starbucks inside, which is a nice bonus. The clothing, food, and home departments seem to be the best here of the local area Targets both in consistency, variety, and amount of product. The only reason that I didn’t give this Target 5 stars is the office supply /​gift wrap section. It is by far the worst Target for gift wrap /​stationary, but it still has an okay selection (The one on McHenry is the best for cards /​gift wrap /​stationary)

I’m a target addict. There *sigh of relief* I said it! And yes I say it fancy as in ’ Targét’
I’m literally here every others day (pathetic I know lol) and have only been disappointed in one thing and it’s just the time it takes to be In line and checking out. Really wish they used more of their fast check out lines but other than that it’s good.
I’m a coupon person and with targets cartwheel app and their deals throughout the store for texting in a code it does come in handy. Plus using my red card for the 5% off and then crediting that to nearby schools helps. I strongly suggest checking out the cartwheel app because you never know when there is an awesome deal to be had.
Best time for shopping? Early morning or right before 3. Other than that. It can get busy. Also, Tuesday’s are the days they bring in the clearance rack items :-)

I really like this target the best out of the Modesto area. The only downside is if the ghetto target on McHenry aka the Walmart Target is having a sale on something, they will not honor the price at the register you have to go to the customer service line and who wants to do that? Not me. Guess you have to pay a few extra bucks for the environment trade off. Otherwise it’s very clean, the customer service is good and there’s a starbucks inside which is a bonus.

We love Target. Everyone is always helpful and friendly.
We especially love the pharmacy staff. They are all so nice and know us whenever we come in. They are an extreme pleasure to work with whether in person or over the phone. I would recommend the pharmacy 100%.

This has to be by far the nicest Target I’ve ever been in! My hot girl cousins dragged me here, well I offered to take them here because their selection can’t be beat! Thankfully we did come here because I had forgotten one little item at the other place and they were able to get exactly what they wanted as well!
I will be back!
