After waiting 30 minutes for service at the Pelendale Verizon store, only to be told I would have to wait 15 minutes more, I left, came to the Verizon Store in Riverbank. They resolved my problem without any waiting, without any problem, and in less than 5 minutes!!! Alpho and Evey are friendly, fast, and easy to work with. I won’t go to any other Verizon store. Alpho asked me if I was interested in any of the free offers they had, but there was no pushy sales talk, just a smile and an interest in helping me solve my problem.

We recently upgraded our cell phones and decided to add 2 gizmo pals to our account. While we started out with a little bit of a bumpy ride with the gizmo’s, Alpho took the time to ensure that all of our questions were taken care of and that all of the bumps in the road were taken care of. Our children love the devices and the staff treated me and my children as if we were the only customers in the store! Great customer service and Alpho really went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were taken care of and that we were satisfied customers! Great Job!

BEWARE of doing business with the store. I went in to upgrade my phone and the person that helped me tried to, without my knowledge or consent, slip in $ 90 Worth of accessories that I had no intention of buying. Luckily I had already checked out the pricing and had a figure of what I was going to have to spend. If that was not enough dishonesty, the same sales person charged me $ 68 without my knowledge. I found out later that this was a charge to buy out of my old contract, and had he made me aware of that charge I would’ve paid it with no issue. But it’s the fact that he failed to tell me about the charge and did not even give me a receipt for the transaction that caused me to feel like I had been taken advantage of. I would’ve not known about the $ 68 had I not checked my bank account and found the transaction two days later. When I called the store to to complain to the store manager about the transaction, I was told that I was mistaken and that, in fact, I was told about the charge prior to it being done. The manager then stated that I had been given a receipt. I checked all of my paperwork three times, no receipt for the $ 68. I was not offered any apology, no explanation, no nothing. Instead I was told that I was wrong as a customer. Having been a Verizon customer for many years I certainly expected way better treatment than I received. I will never go into that store again nor will I ever recommend anyone to do the same. You would think with so many other authorized dealers out there, they would take better care of the customers that came in. I know, for me, I will take my business elsewhere. Anywhere is better than going back into that establishment to deal with the dishonest crap that these people call customer service.

Alpho is fantastic! Not only was he kind, he was so thorough that he helped me save money on my monthly bill and saw that I had been overcharged for months. he made the necessary changes and had it retroactively fixed. :) I have been to this location on many different occasions and had unsatisfactory customer service, so felt it necessary to give props to Alpho. Job well done!

From reading the recent reviews of this store, I have to agree regarding the female employees; they’re useless and are not knowledgeable on the phones in the stores. By the way, the Riverbank store is privately owned. In all fairness, maybe the owners don’t require that ALL their employees be educated on the phones in the store. I was told that the girl had never heard of these functions, and to go to the Dale Road location for technical support. Really? Reading other reviews, perhaps the employee, Nicholas is the only person that can help with technical problems. I know I won’t waste my time going in there again. I found a lot better service and positive attitudes at the Dale Road Verizon location which is owned and operated by Verizon. I found the 5 employees I’ve talked to in this store to be knowledge and willing to assist each customer. And if they don’t have the answer, they will ask other employees rather than letting you leave with dissatisfaction. Just find another Verizon store in nearby towns, and go there instead.

Got here at 958 am to get my Dad his first iPhone. They opened at 10 according to the sign but both employees walked in at 10:05 and locked the doors behind them. It wasn’t until two customers knocked on the door that they unlocked it. I went in and waited in line. The first had a broken phone and was told with a snarky attitude«If you dont have insurance you better go to the Apple store and hope you dont have water damage.» The next girl had her phone stolen and wanted her old phone reactivated. Mind you BOTH employees were helping these customers one at a time without even acknowledging me. One proceeds to ask«got insurance?» I assume she said«no I never used it before» and he smart mouth responded«well you need it now dont you». I was simply irritated at the way they were treating their first customers of the day. Usually I give jerks the benefit of the doubt assuming a bad day but come on you just unlocked the door! It wasnt until I put my sunglasses back on and walked towards the door that one said«Do you have a question?» I simply stated«Nope was here to spend $ 500. I will give it to the Apple store». And walked out. I dont get it. But I wasnt going to give them the opportunity to treat me that way. Will never set foot in there again.

My sister went to this store yesterday morning to purchase her first Apple product. She got an iPhone 5. She was there for nearly four hours. They told her it took that long to sign her up and to copy her contacts. When they did finally help her, they would leave to help new arrivals, and helped them as she stood there wondering what was going on. She finally asked why she had to wait so long. She got someone to finish her purchase and could hardly wait to get out of there. When she got home and looked at the phone, she realized that they had not taken the time to show her how to operate her first Apple product. Had I known she was going to that location, I would have told her about the rude employees I had encountered at the same store. It makes me angry that Verizon has not fired all of them and started over with a new crew. My experience was over a year ago, and the same behavior continues to this day. Don’t waste your time, there are several other Verizon stores in Modesto.

Totally new experience at this store. The store manager Nicholas Mendoza took extra time to help my mother and I with her new phone and transferring all her precious and priceless photos. He stayed in the store for one hour past closing just to help her.

STAYAWAY !!! POORCUSTOMERSERVICE… and LIES Riverbank Store… In August. and employee { we’ll call her«M”}. told me { with NO calls back }. leaving my bill { cause she was ALWAYSOUT } talked to another emploee {we’ll call him«D» age 20 and only concerned about his NEWPHONE} i stated ALL my complainets. He said«oh i see what M did… she pro-rated your account. how stupid was that, i never pro rate, i’ll check into it and see what i can do « After 4 days and a total of 7 hours { asking for manager Maria and Regional Manger } was told by employee D … «THEYWON’T TALKTOYOUNORHELPYOU». employee D made me feel like i was sh** on his boots… I contacted VERIZON { a real store } BEWARE of these small Verizon Wireless Stores. they are 3 party vendors. and can promise anything they want and they will all be LIES… Verizon isn’t obligated to reverse or give back or cancel ANYTHING thes 3rdPARTYVENDORS do… Enter these stores with CAUTION. better yet. STAYOUT!!!

Both Jeanette and diego were very helpful by answering all our questions and concerns. We were very pleased with their service and advice concerning our Verizon accounts. In fact, when we left the store they had helped reduce our bill by approx $ 50 per month with no degradation of service. We recommend this Verizon store highly.
