I stopped for the first time in awhile… Tuesday night taco night… had a single baker and 2 tacos… very good burger and the tacos were excellent. …this place was well staffed with very nice people and very clean

This is a frequent lunch spot where I work, but visits are becoming fewer. The food is decent, and some of the staff is friendly, but the building reminds me of a run down gas station. The bathrooms are outside, the tile work is hideous, and there are frequently people panhandling in the area. Serving sizes do not match other eateries. a «large fry» is about the same size as a small fry at other places.

This one and the one on Indiana are my favorites. I’ll say what I said in that review: Great food close to home! Tip: add red sauce to your bean and cheese burrito, and grilled onions to your boca burger. Shout out to the lovely ladies who know my hubby and me by site!

I come here pretty often once a week or more, went last night for our normal Mama Meal #2 with extra cheese. Well even though I paid extra for some more cheese, I get home and there is none in the entire burrito except a tiny bit in the corner on the opposite side I started eating from. Dont charge extra for cheese when you dont even put any on there in the first place! I am so close to not coming back no matter how good their fries are.

I’m never disappointed when I come to Bakers! I ALWAYS get the bean & cheese burrito budget meal. It’s cheap and delicious.

They are stingy with their ground beef and they charge for refills! Drive a little further to the Adams location and get your moneys worth…

$.75ATM surcharge = 1 star My son likes the bean and cheese burritos, so I’ll give it 2 stars. It’s a step above McRonalds, but not even close to In N Out.

Okay, so I know this is fast food, but Bakers is one of those«if loving you is wrong, I don’t want to be right» kind of things. They call themselves America’s First Twin Kitchen, meaning they serve both burgers and Mexican** food, and I like their offerings in both categories. Growing up, when I got to eat fast food, odds were it was at a Bakers(either that or the Tastee Freeze in Rubidoux). Back then, I would get a $ 1 meal, which supplied me with a bean tostada, a small fry, and a small drink. My sister taught me to mix the mild hot sauce with ketchup for dipping the fries. Seriously tasty. You can no longer get a meal for a dollar, but to be fair, it has been 20 years. I lived near this location in high school and during my years at RCC. During that time, I ate here more than I should probably admit. Highlights: –Cheeseburger — a decent fast food burger with special dressing(aka: thousand island). Its flaw: no pickles. Seriously, this is my only issue with Bakers. –Bean & Cheese Burrito — nothing special here, on the small size but reasonably priced. Fact is, I love bean & cheese burritos, and when drizzled with their mild sauce, I gobble these down pretty fast. –Shredded Beef Burrito — another reviewer wasn’t impressed, but I actually really enjoy their shredded beef. I also like that this burrito isn’t messing around – it’s just beef and cheese. At breakfast they use the same shredded beef for machaca burritos. Also pretty good. –Tacoburger — WHY don’t more places do this? It’s taco meat with shredded lettuce and cheese on a bun. Simple but tasty and a nice change of texture. –Fries — They are nothing to write home about, but good dipped in a shake or in a ketchup-hot sauce mixture. In recent years, Bakers has started carrying a spicy habenero ketchup. All it really is is ketchup with spice added. I still prefer to mix the mild sauce with the ketchup. –Cherry Coke — It’s worth noting that they add cherry syrup. LOVE. Honestly, I don’t know how I’m not diabetic. –Shakes — Solid. –Egg & Cheese Taco — my breakfast menu item of choice. It’s exactly as boring as it sounds: Egg, cheese, and red sauce. But I love it. Honestly, I have no idea what I would think of Bakers if I tried them for the first time today. Probably not much. But since that’s not the case, this is true love. **I use the term«Mexican food» very loosely here.

My one and only experience with Baker’s was alright. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. I have ordered the Papa #5 deal, which was a shredded beef burrito with french fries. The burrito tasted somewhat like the microwave burritos that you get in the freezer section. My fries were undercooked, so it just made my meal less enjoyable. The vanilla milkshake did kick ass though. Many people I’ve talked to say good things about Baker’s. I think i just have to go there one more time and try something else to give it a more fair review. As far as the customer service, the workers were very friendly and you the food was delivered to our table in a timely manner”
