The Culver Center has screening room that they use to bring independent, foreign, art house, and classic movies to Riverside. The picture and sound quality are excellent and there tons of local places to eat at nearby for a pre– or post-​movoe meal.

While checking out the lights in Downtown Riverside I wandered by a bright window display that turned out to be an art project housed in this Center of the Arts! I was thrilled to learn that the center was associated with UCR’s College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
As a CHASS alum I couldn’t miss out on seeing what was inside. I left a donation of five dollars and spent fifteen minutes admiring the current exhibition, a series of sculptures made out of various recycled plastics – and other materials, I’m sure.
What a bright spot along the promenade this place will be for years to come! I’ll be sure to check out future exhibitions – and they do film screenings here, too.

The interior of this place is so nice. Very great renovated scene and a great place to visit when there are art exhibitions. I was there when Pulso y Martillo was performed by Margarita Cabrera. Also the photography exhibit next door is amazing. If you do not know what to do on a saturday night in between dinner and getting drinks at Marios Alley Bar… then come here homie and get your art on.
