Am a fan of free and giving a donation instead. The space was well lit with natural light. The staff is nice and there is quite a bit of literature about the exhibit to read. Every exhibit had a thorough explanation of the art presented and were unique from one another. I would come back to this art gallery and would recommend seeing the Intelligent Design exhibit once. It isn’t for everyone though.

Came here for the«Intelligent Design» exhibit. I will keep this review based on the space and not the exhibit. Space is great! Open, good lighting, high ceilings, refreshments, friendly staff, nice clientele. Street parking or parking structure are available plus the UC Riverside Photography Museum is right next door and should not to be missed. When in Riverside, hit the gallery and Museum! I must say both exhibits left me a bit flat but space and effort A+

Located off campus, they show emerging artists and first time contemporary art surveys. Metered parking/parking structures are nearby. Originally located at UC Riverside in the early 60’s, exhibitions have involved new media, painting issues, photography, and popular culture. The director, Tyler Stallings has a background in art writing as well as philosophy. This venue emphasizes new materials or the relationship between art and life, such as international issues, technology, and the body.
