I called and asked if they could check for me if a ring I had was real gold and they did it no problem. Very nice people working there, and he gave me some tips about my jewelry and told me about how they could help me get other ring reset into white gold. Will be back!!!

If you’re in SoCal and need a good FFL for a private party transfer, this is seriously the place to do it. Based on an experience in an LA pawn shop many moons ago I was originally kinda freaked out about going to this place. But those fears were totally unfounded. Bright Spot is a really nice looking shop with a friendly, INFORMED staff, that is semi-​auto friendly. They have an awesome selection of military surplus arms as well as classically styled firearms like lever action rifles and double barreled shotguns. Handgun prices are reasonable, too. Worth the drive from LA!

My favorite FFL by far. I would go nowhere else if I lived closer. They have an excellent selection of used and consignment guns, usually at pretty good prices, and they are not afraid to deal in Evil Black Rifles like most dealers in this state.
Service is always good and they actually know the laws, unlike most gun store employees who will spout nonsense all day. My last private-​party transfer here only took about 15 minutes, even though they were fairly busy. That is exceptional; some places will have you waiting an hour.
And yes, it’s a pawn shop as well.

Bright spot at first glance is a really shady looking establishment, located in an older strip mall type area. The establishment is a pawn shop/​Federal Arms Dealer … they have everything from jewelry to generators. I visited the business today with my brother inlaw and really when I got there I wanted to stay in the car.
The guys at this establishment are the greatest, no intimidation factor at all! Service with a smile, literally. I will do business with them again without a doubt!
